thank you for some humor during this time…things are really bad in my country rn. people are getting hungry due to thr lockdown and our president’s response to those protesting their state is to advise the military to shoot them down…
April 1, 2020 at 11:17 am
Wow. Yes why wouldn’t you shoot your own people instead of providing assistance. So sorry!
April 1, 2020 at 12:05 pm
I’m so sorry this is happening in your country. I hope it gets better soon.

Loved it! but apparently he doesn’t live in a house that constantly needs repairs with a yard that’s sprouting weeds and ants and wasps. I may be bored but I’ve plenty to do and actually some time to do it, assuming I find a few of those round tuits to give me motivation. Shoot, I haven’t done a spring cleaning in ten years. May be forced to. LOL
All his Coronoa videos are hilarious. I got sucked in — thank you for the link!

Okay, I misread the title and saw Hell from the Inside. I was thinking you were going crazy from staying inside. 😆 maybe it just me as here in the Bay Area they tightened restrictions again last night.
All joking aside I am blessed that my family is healthy and my husband can work from home. Stay healthy everyone.

Working for home improvement we’re called essential. Every day stores are full of people who want projects for when they get quarantined. No masks, no gloves for us, no curbside service. Now I’m sick and miserable. Yippee! Curled up on my sofa with music & books.

It’s a beautiful day here at the damn epicenter of NYC. I remember it was a beautiful day on 9/11. So this was great to break the tension everyone is experiencing . And he has a great voice. And I wished I had a house with a backyard. Live in apartment which is shrinking daily. I do have a nice fire escape that faces the street. And I am so happy with all the books I have. They really help.
The grandkids now have a trampoline to burn off some of their excess energy. I’m assuming it came from one of their neighbors. They’re used to being really active so mom and dad are getting creative. I’m betting the next project will be an obstacle course incorporating the tree swing too, so glad it’s not me trying to keep them busy. Their dining room has 10 bags of donations waiting. Another week of cleaning at work and we should be done. We’re all tired and starting to get a little testy. Hang in there everyone, this too shall pass.

I showed this to my daughter and she cried. She is my social butterfly. She has a deeply introverted older brother and a 6 yr old brother who she can only talk with so much. I am working from home 11 am to 7pm, hubby is 6am to 6pm. She chatting and facetiming friends but my poor baby needs to be outside. It doesn’t help the base we live on isn’t really complying so she can see groups of teens walking around from her window. I’ve gotten her school counselor to video chat with today and again on Friday. We are really hoping this ends soon so she doesn’t go crazy away from her friends.

I’m not on facebook but my mum has been showing me the various songs and so far that’s the one I like best and not just because it’s a Bohemian Rhapsody parody. I spent the other day telling all of my relativeswho called to watch it. In return I got sent some odd stuff though! I swear I’ve been having to do way more social discourse since this all began due to family phone calls, normally they know I don’t chat but it seems like I’m not allowed to not want to chat at present.

I have been making a chocolate cake that my grandma Betty used to make. She had 8 kids. I call it Apocalypse chocolate cake because it is so bad for you might as well eat it if the world is ending. There are no directions or pan size, but a half recipe did well in a greased and floured 9 x9 pan, so full recipe might be good in 9 x 13. 1 cup shortening (I use butter,) 2.5 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, 2 cups milk sweet or sour, 3.5 cups flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 1/2tsp baking powder. 1 tsp salt, 12 tablespoons cocoa or 4 oz melted unsweetened bakers chocolate. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees 30 to 45 minutes Enjoy.

Next time you think, ” I’m bored”, spend a moment taking inventory of your life. Is everyone well? Is there food in the house? Do you still have a roof over your head? Then think of everyone you know who will say “No” to at least one of these questions. We have to be the most shallow society on the face of the earth!

From what I’m seeing on TV there are some people who might want to find a hobby . Next time you think, ” I’m bored”, spend a moment taking inventory of your life. Is everyone well? Is there food in the house? Do you still have a roof over your head? Then think of everyone you know who will say “No” to at least one of these questions. I’m one of those lucky enough to be able to work from home (plus working for an essential service = ISP). For me it’s no bother staying home and so far I’m not loosing any income or in danger of loosing my job, so complaining would be both stupid and selfish.
Also my father is in the danger zone both age and health wise so I’ve got extra incentive to stay away from people – IT’S NOT A BIG SACRIFICE !!!
I find it hard to yap about being bored when I have so many things I can do after work…including walking my dog who’s not unhappy about having me home all day. If you’re tired of walking, reading, watching series/movies then there’s always things to do in the home, mend clothes, do dishes, do some training, clean that attic out etc. etc. etc.
Hope we get the slowing down done soon….till then – songs like this and seeing the positive coming out if it makes it easier !
