I don’t usually purchase special editions, while so beautiful to look at, it seems like a waste of space I don’t have to buy another version of a book I already have.
However, HL is my most loved series from House Andrews, and for some reason I still only have them as ebooks. And these versions are so, so stunning! I would absolutly love to buy those.
Unfortunatelly, it’s not only difficult to get a slot with Arcane Society, they also only ship to a handful of countries. Not including any EU countries. So absolutly no chance at all to get this, which is really a pity.
Of course, you don’t have any influence over this. But, if you are thinking about other Special Editions in the future, EU-friendly ones (meaning there’s shipping at all) would be very much appreciated! 🙂
Hi Rebekka, I would contact Arcane Society to find out what delivery arrangements can be made, because I know for sure previous AS editions made it to Germany, for example 🙂
General access opens at 1 pm Pacific time — this means *anyone* can purchase the books then. You don’t need an Arcane subscription.
I also know you can ship to Germany but maybe it’s not clear from the website. I would email the company and ask.
Rebekka, I am located in the Netherlands and just preordered the Hidden Legacy Special Edition Box. I have a subscription and never had a problem before.
You don’t need to be a subscriber for books like these, a short while after the first access for subscribers, there’s a general sale. And they do ship these internationally, they just warned people that they ship from the US. For other titles, they also have warehouses elsewhere, like the UK, for people to save on shipping. So this should work for you, just give it a try in the general sale at 1pm Pacific Time.

I read the FAQ, and there is still the (apparently old) information, that they are not shipping to EU.
However, turns out you’re all right and I was able to preorder the books and pay for shipping to Germany.

For me, she reminds me of Charlie on the MTA. Although his whereabouts actually were known, given that he was stuck on Boston’s MBTA (now known simply as the T). Or at least he would have been until they got rid of the exit fair policy. 😋 (In case anyone is wondering who Carlie is/was, he was the fictional subject of the then Boston mayoral candidate Walter A. O’Brian’s campaign song, “Charlie on the MTA.)

I did not have early access, but I was able to order a box. So there are still some available. I’m still sad I wasn’t able to get the Grace Draven books earlier. They went fast and are still sold out!
