Buns and Roses
This weekend Gordon and I will be in Garland for Buns and Roses event as Keynote Speakers. Public signing is a B&N Firewheel, Saturday October 21, at 3:00 pm. The store is located at 190 Cedar Sage Dr., Garland TX 75040. A portion of sales benefits a literacy center. It’s an awesome cause and we are excited to be a part of this event. 🙂 The speech thing is a bit worrying, since it’s been a while, but hopefully we won’t make a huge mess of it.
KD Halloween Sweepstakes
Ace decided to do a KD sweepstakes.

Doris Martindale says
This would be awesome in New England? Think about all those foliage colors! New Englanders love company!
Tink says
I’ve already got the books, but I entered anyway. I want the keychain. 😛
Rachael says
If I win you can have the keychain…. I want the books and bath bomb! I only ever buy kindle books but it would be fun to own KD in “real” format.
Tink says
Deal.
Ginny says
What fun! I’ve got a snowballs chance but you never know.
nickole195 says
darn for US residents only
Gundega says
Agreed, darn it is T_T
Too bad I don’t have any close relatives across the ocean T__________T
Barbara says
Double darn – don’t they realise there is a whole world of fans who would love a chance to win this prize? If postage is a problem, just the keychain would do for me!
Katy says
Agree
Boo sucks!
Rachael says
How long will you be signing at the B&N?? I work at the garland library until 6 but I could get there by 6:15 if it isn’t too late….!
Demi says
I thought of Clean Sweep somehow when i rushed here after i saw it on Twitter 🙂
Good luck!
Demi says
Yes i know KD first^^
Nina says
Awww man, only open to U.S. residents? I feel unloved and excluded. I’m gonna go eat a dozen Kinder Surprise eggs, buy some sixteen-year-olds some beer and drive as fast as my car can go on the highway.
Jean-ann Stump says
The sweepstakes is limited to one entry per person. Would my dog count if she has her own email? After all a persons’s a person no matter how dog.
LBHG says
Buns and Roses???! Now I can’t get the song “November Rain “ out of my head.
Lauren says
Curses! Only US Residents!
JR says
… Geographic Discrimination ….. maybe, because I saw this blog while traveling and when I submitted the entry it kept giving me an error message! I will resubmit when I get back State-side and see what happens. Good luck everyone!
Candice says
I have a technically U.S. address being on base overseas. It accepted it, but hope it doesn’t disqualify me. Fingers crossed, I would love to have those books.
DianainCa says
Sounds like a good time! Of course now I am humming G and R in my head.
Henry says
Too bad I read this late Friday instead of Thursday. It’s a nine hour drive and I would not be in a condition to nothing but sleep. Most everytime I’m in the Metroplex I visit BN at the Firewheel. There are several good restaurants nearby. Enjoy.
Kalea says
Only US?
That is so unfair???.
So envious of you guys.
Regina says
The gifts all sound awesome! I am thrumming with curiousity wondering what the key chain looks like.
Regina says
Hope you enjoy visiting with your adoring fans!
karen says
Entered! Thanks for the heads up. What a fun sweepstakes!
Carol says
The public speaking thing is gonna be great! You two are awesomeness! ?
Amy Ann says
This is great! Thanks. Hope the talk went well. You guys are great, so I’m sure it did.
PadawaNita says
Yay! A keychain! I doubt I will win, but if I did, I wonder if it will clash with the Firefly Serenity keychain fob.
Christine says
A little late commenting on this, sad it’s only open to those resident in the US ?
Hope everything went well and that everyone had a great time ?
April Spitzer says
I find it ridiculously unfair that you were in Garland last Saturday–where I was spending an 8 hour day getting caught up in my classroom and could’ve taken a teensy break–and I had no idea you were there. ?
