Whoa. LOVE the green. Her eyes are striking.
Her cleavage is also glowy and draws the eye. Wonder if that’s on purpose to draw new readers?
Hey Joanne, her eyes are up there… 😛
????????????
HAHAHAHA
I always suspected Catalina and Arabella were based in kid 1 and 2, so it’s nice to get confirmation. We must have an Arabella trilogy!
Point to Ilona! ???? ????????????????
BWahahahahahahahaha
????????????
LOL!
😀
hahaahahahhahahah! I’m laughing way too hard at this.
That immediately drew my attention and then I saw the male next to him and I wanted to kill him. Strangely the Sapphire Flames cover did not get that reaction from me. I should just look at her eyes I suppose.
But that was the close up. When I look at the whole cover my eyes were drawn by the sword in her hand. Self preservation probably.
My eyes were drawn to the GUY
More Baylor books? Yes!
Gorgeous!
Love these covers. Fantastic artwork. Hit the pre-order button today. Can’t wait!
Love it
So. Damn. Beautiful!!
I love it so much. Can’t wait to have it on my shelf!! And I really need to reread Sapphire flames now 😉
Gorgeous cover! Enjoyed the interview – as a fan, I’m shocked people were upset about how the story moved along. The way you set things up, Nevada naturally would be with Rogan’s house … setting the stage for more development of House Baylor figures. Excited to see what comes next!!!
+1 ????
I’m not shocked. Someone is always upset. They will just have to get over it.
I love that cover!!! I can’t wait for this book!
Gorgeous cover! And fans will be happy – he has a shirt on 🙂 And I enjoyed the interview as well. Thanks for the link 🙂
I love everything except her eyes seem a bit too photo shopped and over done :/. Still gonna buy it as soon as it comes out though.
Pre-ordered on Amazon! Thanks for the cover reveal
+1 And thank you, House Andrews. Green is my favourite colour. And Emeralds are the bestest gems. (Just sayin’)
you are not wrong!
Very nice write-up. Looking forward to the book!
I enjoyed that interview, thanks!
YOU CANT DO TWO AMAZING THINGS IN ONE DAY OKAY
Don’t tell them that! What they don’t kn8w can benefit the Horde!
Woohoo nice 😀 can’t wait.
Pre-ordering all the books today!
It is a truth universally acknowledged that men with their shirt sleeves rolled up are approximately 300% sexier- Not that Ale needs it ????
The sword, the dress, the swirly (maybe) circle – I’m obsessed with all the potential hits!
Thank you for the awesome!
Sigh. ???? Wishing my life away, one release date at a time. Ready to skip to August now, please!
Loving it. Happy Dance. August…thats a date ????
Just rehearing? the audiobooks and I already finished Nevadas story. Having two sisters myself and been living with my grandma for a while I loved your books from the start. Big thanks to Jeaniene Frost. Then followed the Hugh book and I still thi kg je na far my favorite speaker. Thank you for those great stories.
Got it on Amazon. Can’t wait till August. Thank you! Your ausom!
I get so excited whenever you post teasers for upcoming books,
Beautiful cover and really fun interview! Looking forward to another great read…. sounds intense …
The cover looks good, if a bit too “Romance Novely” (yes, I know, it IS a romance novel). August 25, 2020. The time required to bring a book to being published blows my mind. In the same time, you could form a new human from raw materials.
Fairly sure, though don’t quote me, that it’s a bit easier to grow a new human than to write an excellent novel. Ilona, you’ve done both multiple times: which was easier? Or equally tricky in different ways?
(I mostly kid, of course ????)
I was referring to the publishing time, not the writing time (since that is, to the best or my memory, complete). Writing, yeah, that takes how long it takes.
Love the cover and the interview. I really hope we get Arabella and/Leon next. I think both of them would be terrific point of view characters.
Will we find out more about Catalina’s paternal grandfather and his Siren powers in this book?
Can’t wait…. Woo!
Thank you for the sneak peek of the cover and the synopsis. Woo-hoo!
So…we get more of Alessandro’s background. Nice!
Can’t wait to read. ????
Amazon preorder in!
When I click on the link it comes up with “Page not available”. Searches also come up with the same result. Denofgeek has its own UK site so I guess this interview is only available to people in the US?
Nope, the link is available to me just fine in London- and several other friends across the country I’ve shared the post with.
Just tried again and it’s working now… joys of the internet!
Awesome cover! The woman is beautifull and the man is the right combination of masculine and beauty.
Catalina looks about 35 in this cover. That’s not a bad thing! I wish she was! Her intelligence, and more importantly her wisdom, far, far exceed her canonical age.
I’d love to read a protagonist of yours who’s in the 40-50+ range, perhaps with children from a previous relationship. Sure, her physical prowess would be diminished in some ways (hush Kate, you’re immortal), and it’d be new, for sure, but I’m absolutely certain you’d nail it, if your agent and publishers are game (and you as authors of course).
I especially like how you’re teasing at a relationship for Penelope. She’s more than deserving of her own novella (or more!). Her life isn’t over yet!
I doubt it matters, but just in case: I started reading your work when I was in my early 20s, and I’m only 32 now. So please know that your “younger” readers would be into older protagonists.
Anyway, I love the cover, thank you for sharing! Happy holidays!
Elizabeth Hunter (another favorite author) was writing recently about how she and some of her squad are into this Paranormal Women’s Fiction thing, which centers the stories on the 40+ set. (#PWF, apparently – though I haven’t looked it up on twitter yet.) Don’t know if it’s a fit for House Andrews… but I, too, would love to see more stories centering on the Baylor women. I mean, Penelope – but OMG, can we ever get enough Grandma Frida?
(…I so wish I had a Grandma Frida in my life!)
Yes! Definitely more Grandma Frida.
Thanks for the rec, I’ll check it out
Another one pre-ordered ????
Sweep with me and Emerald blaze
Well this is pretty amazing! The cover, the interview, and the things that have been revealing themselves quietly a little bit at a time. Fascinating????????????,
This is the one series I am saving to read straight through. I only have knowledge of it from snippets and fan comments.
The waiting for the next book in many series was distressing so this will be an awesome binge read???? A real celebration of sorts.
Congratulations on all of these exciting events and Happy Holidays! ????⛄????
Sparkly! And she has a sword! I’m in!
Wheee!
Love the cover & the interview, and yes, Kid 2, everyone wants you! Pre-ordered immediately and as usual, I already can’t wait for August! (Too many !, but HL deserves them… !)
House Andrews, completely Rock. I am so in awe of you both for dealing with life and still managing to create and grow multiple worlds for us to lose ourselves in. The cover is everything and I am looking forward to delving deeper into House Baylor . I love the fact that you based the younger sisters on your daughter’s personalities.
Ok, I saw in the interview it was available for pre-order, so it is ordered. The question is how impatient I will get waiting for August! Love the cover. All hail House Andrews!
Finger does not go on the trigger unless PULLING the trigger. Person who chose the hand on gun does not shoot.
You can’t actually see the trigger (or at least I couldn’t on zoom), so it might be a shorter trigger set farther back and his finger is just in the guard area. Also, since she has a sword out in hand, I was guessing that they were prepared to shoot/ slash or stab enemies. Since Gordon was in the military, I would guess he, most likely, knows how to hold and shoot a gun, but that could be an incorrect generalization. Hopefully that doesn’t sound confrontational. That’s not my intent, merely to offer a different viewpoint. I really should be asleep right now. ????
I. Love. It. So gorgeous. (Is it just me? Catalina clearly got a new dress, and looks stunning and perfect… and Alessandro, while hot, looks somewhere between “rode hard and put up wet” and “the night after”. Girl, I just hope you had fun, because the other options aren’t nearly as pleasant.)
I, too, think Arabella would be an absolute hoot. Full forward momentum! (For the record, I’m a giant Catalina fan? I mean, not in a “better than” way, exactly, but I love her style.)
August 20-25 2020 for the new book. SOOOOOOOOO very long to wait. I hope you provide snippets to keep your loyal fans happy during the long winter. Loved the cover and I think an Arabella trilogy will be great as well. Her love life will be a minefield and you have already shown she has hidden depths to her. A Leon trilogy will also be incredibly interesting and should wait until he matures into his mid to late 20s.
Love the cover! It really POPS! The interview was really informative. I had no idea how much went into the cover of a novel. Can’t wait for the book!!
Ooo. He is HOT! (His eyes are gorgeous.) Sorry, I’m 66, and don’t get to enjoy much beefcake anymore. Whew! (Fanning myself…. ) Thanks for the cover and the interview link!
The pretty is hypnotic. You look and you want to keep looking. Great cover to get new readers (& entertain the BDH as well)❣
Loving this cover! Already preordered, too. Will it come out in audio at the same time?
August. Is. Sooo. Far. Awaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!!!
????
Thank you for this wonderful cover. I’m very glad we won’t have a repeat of the Hello Kitty incident
I don’t know why, but I never like looking at covers with illustrations or photos of the characters. I think it’s because the artist’s (and writer’s) visual concept of the character is never the same as mine. For what it’s worth, this only happens with books whose characters have become very real to me.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that some members of the BDH were livid about Nevada’s ouster but I wasn’t one of them. I have also found Catalina to be more relatable because of her anxiety and her concerns about who she might become 20 years in the future.
Thank you so much! Too much going on lately for me to keep up but WOW, what a wonderful Christmas surprise! 2 new books to look forward to plus maybe one about Leon and one about Augustine? I do not know why but i would love to know what is behind all the illusion! Wishing you peace, serenity and lots of fun surprises for the new year!
There seems to be a problem: for some reason I’m unable to climb through the screen, into the future, to get the book. Any news on fixing this bug?
Wonderful, I love it!
I love this! Learning each sister. I truly hope for Leon as well! I am waaaaay excited. Can it just be August already!! Gahhh and I love the differences and knowing Nevada really is a regular person. I love it!
