Hi everyone, Mod R here with a second post for today.
One Fell Sweep is live on the Graphic Audio app!
I have been lucky enough to hear some clips, such as Cookie’s negotiation with the Muckrats (epic fart gun!) and Wing’s stabbing of the statuette and I’m ob-sessed! Best one yet, in my humble opinion, and there’s a sample there for you to make up your own mind.
For those who aren’t yet fans and might have some questions, Graphic Audio are full cast dramatic adaptations of the books, with each character being interpreted by a different actor. Think old timey radio dramas, complete with soundtrack and sound effects.
They are released on the Graphic Audio app first, and then available for other retailers like Audible and libraries about a month later: for One Fell Sweep, this date is the 1st of June 2022.
I have covered more detail about how to buy and the accessibility of the GA app in this post.
This is a parallel project, and it will not be replacing the traditional audiobooks with one narrator released by House Andrews. All published Innkeeper books have been licensed and will be adapted by Graphic Audio (if you’re sneaky, you will see Sweep of the Blade is already up for pre-order). I know some of you are asking if any other IA series will be given the same treatment, and that will need to be a discussion for another day.
Happy listening, I’m off to Baha Char!
Mimi says
Watch out for those muckrats☺️
Tom says
I’m listening now! It’s fantastic! (just like the source material!)
Richard Cartwright says
I have seen some criticism about the Graphic Audio version of Sweep in Peace that some scenes were omitted. Is this the full book?
Moderator R says
The nature of the GA books means that they are slightly abridged, yes, but nothing of note is omitted from the plot :).
Elizabeth says
I have only two words that make this GA book. Fart. Gun. It was AMAZING!
Kris says
I’m listening to it now! I’ve really enjoyed these versions. I have all of the ebooks, audible versions and now the GA versions….I love all of them!
BRENDA says
+1 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Frances says
++1❤️❤️????
I have all the books ( both ebooks and dead tree copies- love the artwork) ) and the audiobooks ( I really enjoy Renee ‘s reading) and now I’m enjoying the “movie in your mind” version. Yes there are scenes that are shortened but all the main story is there. All we need now is for some producer to make a TV series on Innkeeper and we’ll have every possible version of the this delightful, thought- provoking series covered.
Gretchen says
Will Sweep of the Heart have a normal audiobook release?
Moderator R says
Hi Gretchen 🙂
Yes, Sweep of the Heart will be released as an audiobook with only one narrator, as I say in the post, the traditional audiobooks will not be replaced or cancelled by the GA adaptations.
To foresee your next question, there is no release date yet hehe.
Natasha Johnson says
I’m so excited to hear it! My 11 yr old asked first thing this morning if it was downloaded yet both of my kids love listening to them.
Relin says
I have been so enjoying these! <3 I got the preorder fulfilled message earlier today and I am so excited to listen to it!
Reggie says
Thanks for the reminder. I am getting these for my cruise vacation. I read alot, but like to have audio books with my also.
The website says they are on sale until the 20th. Very reasonably priced….off I go.
Thanks!!!!!!
Laura Martinez says
Happy dance!!!!!
Roxanna says
I’ve already bought it! I love these and they satisfy an IA craving. I think it was on sale too.
Shayera says
I’m listening to it at work right this moment. I love these adaptations.
Do you, by any chance, know the timetable for them coming to the ‘Zon?
Moderator R says
Hey Shayera,
Sweep in Peace will be on Audible on May 1st and One Fell Sweep on June 1st ????
Shayera says
Thanks Mod R!
Breann says
I love these adaptations! To me, these are how audio books should be! ????
Does anybody have a good recommendation for another series to fill in with after finishing this IA book? I appreciate how quickly they are publishing them, but they can’t make them as quickly as I can listen to them. ????
Rebecca says
Devon Monk’s Ordinary Magic series. 🙂
Breann says
Thank you! ????
Tasha A says
Awesome was going to ask the same question!!
Molly-in-Md says
I haven’t heard the GA version of the Esther Diamond series, but I certainly enjoyed them in book form.

Marian HK says
I like World of the Lupi.
William B says
I have to admit I’m addicted. I play the GraphicAudios while I’m doing work around the house.
Sherri says
Me too. My sewing room is the perfect place for these.
BRENDA says
SAME! I usually fold laundry ☺️
Mi says
The GraphicAudio is fantastic and beats the traditional audiobooks hands down! Thank you for these!
Angela says
Old timey radio dramas DO have sound effects and music.
Therese says
The thing with the fart gun is hilarious!
Rebecca says
I’m obsessed with these versions of the Innkeeper Series. They are amazing and may have spoiled audio books for me. I keep listening to the tales of Dina, her inn, and all the things she cares about. BTW, I love the new book in the BLOG but am not forgetting where we left off on book four…. cliffhanger much??
Thank you for the gift of your stories. They make me so happy.
RoseM says
Already ordered and received. ????
Thank You
They are wonderful.
(I have the innkeeper eBooks, Audible and now the Graphic Audible.)
Cory says
Yay!!! I’ve been listening to Sweep in Peace and trying really hard not to laugh out loud. So excited that they are doing the whole series. Can’t wait to hear Maud’s book.
Verslint says
It’s brilliant! Enjoying it very much, I highly recommend it.
Melissa says
I just want House Andrew to know that I buy their Kindle, their Audible, and now their Graphic Audio versions of their Innkeeper books. I hope this means that they get a few $$ to keep writing this series for say about 20/30 years. It’s my favorite.
I can’t wait for Sweep of the blade.
FYI – Audible has Sweep in Peace up for Pre-Order.
Thank you for letting me visit other realities. LOL
Melissa says
+1 (a different Melissa agreeing with the above Melissa)
BRENDA says
+1 ????
Bibliovore says
Already listening. And Sweep of the blade is preordered. Love the Graphic Audio treatment!
Chill says
I too have the Kindle, Audible and the Graphic Audio versions of the Innkeeper books. Even having credits on Audible – I still grab the Graphic Audio version for my IPad as soon as it hits. While some people have complained about there are missing parts with the Graphic Audio version – do yourself a favor and try at least one of the Graphic version. Unless you are comparing the Graphic Audio to the book at the same time – you would never know anything was missing because it’s nothing that takes away from the pleasure, the humor, or the characters. In fact – it enhances the enjoyment of having the novel. House Andrews does a marvelous job of creating mental pictures with their skills at writing and Graphic Audio keeps it going with using sounds and different voices to enhance that experience.
Melanie says
I love the Graphic Audio versions of the books. Just started One Fell Sweep and pre-ordered Sweep of the Blade
Diane A Bloechl says
Question: how is Graphic Audio different from anime? I am a little confused.
Moderator R says
Graphic Audio are audio-only adaptations of popular books, with each character being voiced by a different actor ????. You can follow the link https://www.graphicaudiointernational.net/innkeeper-chronicles-3-one-fell-sweep.html and listen to a sample ????.
Anime is a Japanese style of animation aimed at both adults and children.
Diane A Bloechl says
AAAH! Thanks!
Samantha says
Fabulous!!!! I was just listening to Magic Triumphs and thinking with God Curran in the mix a prime opportunity of demigod mini Kate was missed. *singing badly*” I know it’s alot, the hair, the bod.” *something something* “What can I say except , ” You’re Welcome! ”
A level of awesomeness that would be charmingly countered by the IA creative genius. *shrug* shame.. *giddy dancing* off to start One Fell Sweep whoop!
Angela Knight says
I preordered it. Listening to it now. Really cool. I love Graphics Audio. They do a marvelous job.
Jean-ann Stump says
I just finished listening to One Fell Sweep. It is awesome. I love the music and the voice actors.
House DeMille says
The Graphic Audio versions are great! The voices are just spot on. I have been enjoying them a lot.
However unfortunately the Graphic Audio app doesn’t work properly on my phone – it doesn’t save the place correctly. Apparently it’s a known issue and they are working on it… It’s really annoying so I don’t think I’ll be getting any more books from them directly until they fix it.
Good thing I got Clean Sweep via Audible, so that works fine. I thought I would get Sweep in Peace and future books directly from them but unfortunately the app has been a pain. I hope they fix this bug soon as I am really enjoying their work otherwise!
Mela says
Happy Dance
And at just the right time! Desperate need for something good and right, even in Sci Fi land.
If the last GA book was a court dance,
This one is a very dramatic tango. You simply don’t know what the next movement will be and who will lead who.
Christina says
House DeMille I’ve worked around the issue of it not saving the place by taking a screenshot when I know I will not be returning to the action directly.
And I have loved every minute so far! The fart gun was a little nostalgic for me as my sons and my huband were always playing with those in the toy aisle when they came out!
House DeMille says
Thanks for the tip 🙂
Terrie says
Just bought it and pre-ordered Sweep. I am so happy. I can listen while I walk
Mary says
Question: reading the Kate Daniels series, as we know it takes place in Atlanta and surrounding areas. So did Ilona and Gordon live there for a while and get to know it that way? Or was it just a matter of Google maps and history of the area?
Moderator R says
Both Ilona and Gordon worked in Atlanta, yes ????
Sue says
I don’t usually listen to audiobooks. I love these and have purchased all of them and pre-ordered the next one. These are absolutely amazing!!
JenMo says
The only question is do I stop listening to my current book to listen to this or wait…..
Cynthia says
Just finished listening to the latest release of One Fell Sweep.
GraphicAudio is great, no problems with their app as someone had above. Worked great on my iPhone.
Have already pre-ordered Sweep of the Blade.
As to voices of the characters, I would like to say Thanks to whoever thought of giving the vampire engineer in Sweep in Peace a Scottish voice. Reminds me so much of Scotty from the Original StarTrek series. And a character in One Fell Sweep sounds so much like Thor from the StarGate series.
The Innkeeper series is my favorite from the Andrews.
Katrina says
We’re going to save them. With a fart gun.
<3
Regina says
I’m not usually big on audio books, so I was amazed at how much I enjoyed the Graphic Audio sample. I was totally drawn into the scene. The voices beautifully embodied the characters and the sound effects of the fart gun blended with the background music created a movie in my head – I swear I saw Dina’s eyes roll!- and then… the sample ended. I hope my daughter forgives me, because this is one of those rare ‘must have now treats’ because I can’t wait two months for my birthday!
(I just re-read my post for spelling/etc and felt the need to add:
This is not a paid endorsement; I really really like the graphic audio.)
Mar says
There’s a sale going on for April. I bought the next three Innkeepers. Otto’ voice is wonderful. In my head he had a Shakespearen accent. Cookie is adorable. What I can’t figure out for Gaston’s accent. It doesn’t sound Louisiana to me, more of a French one.
CHRIS says
This is already on offer at amazon AUDIBLE in U.S. for anyone interested in getting it now.
Moderator R says
Hi Chris, you’re slightly confusing things- the Graphic Audio version of One Fell Sweep is not on Audible yet, it will be in on the 1st of June. The traditional audiobook as narrated by Renee Raudman is 🙂
CHRIS BRADY says
Oh, Thank You! I’m glad I didn’t buy it yet. I’ll wait for the big cast. That should be great fun❣️P.S. I love your little logo circle. Would that be tough for this Old one to do?

The GA versions are so fun! I’m listening to Sweep in Peace right now. I’d recommend ordering (and preordering) right away if you’re thinking about it because they are having a big spring sale right now that ends on… the 29th I think? But preorders are included in the sale too 🙂
Susan Spence says
I just wanted to let you know that the people at Graphic Audio did a great job of dealing with my technological ineptitude. I attempted to preorder book 3 and managed to order a second book two. I emailed them my sorry tale and they immediately swapped it out for the correct book. I’m so pleased with how smoothly they took care of me. They were pleasant, efficient, professional and kind. Excellent choice of service provider on your part.
Also – great book. There are a few points where I honestly chuckled out loud. Maud teasing Dina about helping Sean with his equipment and, yeah, the fart gun. Bonus points to the performers…and to the authors who hopefully laughed out loud when they wrote these scenes.
Lyn says
This is indeed the best rendition of the actual innkeeper books yet. They are all slightly abridged, less words or more, but they are fabulous. And again this is the best one of the three. Maude and Helen are particularly delightful.
GlassGalChloe says
Holy moly crap… ????????
That sex scene was hot as a book, it was sweltering as an audio movie! Gods…
Thank you, SO MUCH for allowing me to do some truly dull work while “reading” my favorite series yet another time!!!
Now, excuse me while I wipe off the drool and go back to Graphic Audio to see if they have any more of the Author Lords’s works…
Cathy says
I love the series on Graphic Audio! I’ve down loaded the mp3 version to my Kindle and every evening I’ve been listening to a few segments.
I am **not** a fan of audio books but this is different and very enjoyable.
Skm says
Hey House Andrews. Thank you. I know it is not easy as life often interrupts our plans. I do love all the things you do to keep us (me) engaged in your stories. They make life a lot more enjoyable. I hope all (especially cat) are fine.
Roselani Hanks says
Bought this a month ago. I’ve listened to it three times since! Such wonderful production and has come in handy during emergency road trip and while I was caretaking my mom. Both times my fellow people really appreciated the book and loved the story so much. We’re all awaiting the sequels now. Thank you for putting this together, it’s a great addition to your catalog.
Ka says
Not really very good. Audio narrator versions are less cheesy.
Chiedza says
I just finished listening to this and I am blown away. Helen’s voice filled me with cuteness and Arland ‘s voice hmm the accent is amazing. I can’t wait for Sweep of the blade. I hope this is a really profitable venture for you so you can do the same for the Kate Daniels series. I keep imagining Curran’s raw , the bouda laughs and Erra’s condescension. Honestly I am very hopeful.
Jane says
I absolutely love these Graphic Audio productions. I bought the first, adored it and have pre-ordered the next two on Audible. I will happily buy whatever you guys produce in this format. It is so enjoyable! Thanks for making this happen.
Faye Forney says
I’m loving the audio graphic adaptions . I have always loved innkeeper. It is what finally got me interested in House Andrews and got me to read Kate Daniels. And after the last two years of introspection and isolation and fear and angst, this third installment just hit me differently. I appreciated all that the characters are going through even more post 2019-2020-2021 + . I have already preordered on graphic audio Maude’s and can’t wait. I now have a graphic audio editions and also on audiobooks both versions and I’m thinking of buying hardcopies and handing them out to my book friends. Stay classy everyone. Stay classy.
Jean says
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the GraphicAudio audio books of the innkeeper saga so far. I’m part way through book three with the fourth on pre-order. They are SO DELIGHTFUL! Having an entire cast do the reading and having sound effects is so much fun I can’t contain my glee. 😀 I am very much hoping that the Hidden Legacy series might get converted to graphicaudio productions at some point in the future as that would be delightful fun. And I can’t even imagine Kate’s series as graphicaudio productions – I mean SO MANY characters and … that would be great fun too but such an undertaking. Anyway, I don’t know how far they will go with the audio adaptations but I am here for each and every one of them. While I’ve read all the books, it’s a delight to listen to as I drive to and from work. Thanks for all the fun. Thanks for the massive amount of entertainment you bring to my life.
Kathleen Thill says
Sorry, this is a tad off topic… will the Kate series ever be recorded on Graphic Audio? I love the Inn productions on GA. ???? I’ve bought them all including the pre-order for the next one. I don’t even mind that I have two copies. One in Audible, one in GA. Thanks so much for the GA editions. They’re great knitting companions.
