I am so sad I missed this! I hear the toaster thing came up in the Q&A and I am so delighted that it made it into a book. I had to pause reading when I got to that part and go tell every single person that I know.
I guess we’ll find out how many patent examiners are Ilona Andrews fans as my patents with that easter egg slowly make their way through the system!

One question I would love to be answered on the blog someday is whether the “Gerard and Helen meet” snippet will be expanded into a short story or novella. They seem like both nice and interesting people and it would be great to understand more about their backgrounds and magic.
This question has been asked before and unfortunately no. We may learn more from the Innkeeper series in flash back moment.

I’ve seen the Paso Doble danced by professional dancers. It looks like they’re fighting each other. I don’t realize I’m holding my breath until the dane is finished.

Hi! I went to pre-order Ruby Fever at amazon and the two formats available for pre-order are kindle and mass market paperback. Do we know if there will be a hardback? (I hope so! I like my hard copies to match—I’m still getting over there being no hardback Burn for Me! ????) Maybe it will show up later, like I assume the audiobook will? Thanks.
