I love animals (I volunteer as a part-time vet tech!) and I think it would be so cool to have that kind of bond with an animal. If I could pick any power, I would want to be able to warg into an animals mind, Game of Thrones style!

House Baylor, of course. They are the new kids on the block so they aren’t going to be complacent and laid back. They have secret and no-so secret allies so they aren’t going to be easy to push around. The battles should be epic and I want to be in the middle of the action doing whatever I can to help the good guys win the day.
As far as my power? I don’t care. Anything Ilona and Gordon conceive would be way better than I could ever imagine.
I would love to be House Harrison so I could have an animal like a wolf or a tiger. (I’m in the US.)

I would love to be in house Montgomery, the idea of changing your self or your surroundings to what you want it to be sounds really fun and interesting. Though I don’t know how I would feel working for Augustine himself.
House Harrison, but the animals have me trained to do their bidding.
House Montgomery. I want to be a money mage. A mage with the ability to recognize monetary opportunities to help my brother Augustine grow the Montgomery Fortunes.
House Targaryen and I would clearly have the ability to rush character development.
But seriously, I would want to be part of House Baylor (because I’ve always wanted to have sisters I was close to) and I think I’d dig having Grandma Frida’s talent with machines. It feels infinitely useful.
House Sherwood I think. I love green things and it relaxes me to be around them. I am not great at keeping my houseplants alive sadly. Being part of house Sherwood, not only might I be an Herbamagos but I would also get to work with plants and draw happiness from being surrounded by vegetation 🙂

I’m a US resident and I would love to be a member of House Harrison. To be able to better understand and to bond with horses, cats and raptors would be so awesome. I would be an excellent employee for House Baylor with the ability to bond with raptors. Really with any really large bird that could carry cameras equal to an eagle or owl’s eyesight would in essence make me a drone in the field for House Baylor.

Oh man, as cool as it would be to manipulate elements or tell when people are lying, I would be an animal mage. I guess that means I’d be in House Harrison or another animal mage House. The Harrison’s are probably my favorite magical family, as they not only have power, but are very down to earth. Plus, it’d be cool to have unlimited petting access to Zeus.

My first reaction, well second after I went completely “loca” because this oportunity is freaking awesome! Ok, so my first thought was house Harrison. Because, animals! But then, I started to think(a defect of mine) and got a bit worried about relationships. So, I thought House Baylor would be a better option for me. And what I could be? I’m in the US. I would want to be in House Rogan, but I’d want the textile ability because I’m a bit of a prankster at heart at times, and I would have too much fun toying with people. Plus other entertaining applications.

I would probably want to be in House Baylor, because I’d always know for sure that my house and my family had my back. After all, if you don’t have trust and support, it doesn’t really matter how powerful you are, does it?
As for powers, that’s a tougher question. There seem to be pros and cons to all the powers. I do like Nevada’s truthseeking power and being an animal or plant mage would be awesome. But really, I think an earth-based power would be better suited for me. Are there any earth-based houses that I’m missing? Would House Madero be considered earth-based?
But I’m imagining being able to manipulate dirt (so that plants grow best), find precious metals and gems (because I love jewelry), and make my own Batman-like lair (wherever I wanted to because…well, Batman is cool). I think I’d like that kind of power. 🙂

I would want to be House Collins (Aquakinetic). All living things(some rare exceptions I know) have water in them meaning they could be manipulated, harmed by dehydration or at least stalled in their tracks. Water exists in lots of inanimate objects too, in the air around us, in wood, foods and contained in fabrics, which all means there is always an easily accessible source of water to use as a weapon. In an emergency an Aquakinetic could even use some of the water from their own body as a source. Water is routinely used in high pressure, narrow jets to cut steel and being able to use it in that manner would make an aquakinetic a dangerous foe. That is before you even consider them manipulating large bodies of water like lakes, falling rain or water running beneath our feet in pipes. I could go on with imaginative and gruesome uses of aquakinesis but I will leave it there. I think you can see it would be an amazing power to have and so House Collins would be my choice.
That and Collins as a name is irish and derived from the irish name Cuilein which means darling.
I want to be super cool with my powers, but based on what I do I would most likely be a harmonizer because I spend most of my days creating harmony between my kids (6 boys) and I create harmony on the paper with paints. I live in Texas.

This is very difficult because there are so many different possibilities. I love plants but have a black thumb so the power over plants is appealing. I love rain and enjoy watching storms so the idea of being able to control them and to help keep them from harming people also sounds great. I love animals and house Harrison with the ability to know a little about what they think and to be able to direct them sounds wonderful. House Rogan and telekinesis would be amazing and terrifying. I don’t think I would like the many scary abilities of house Baylor Like the ability to detect lies that Nevada has, but I love all the members of house Baylor, especially Grandma. They do have a range of different abilities so I think Baylor but something less stressful like Bernard’s exemplars.
I would be a Geokinetic from House Madero. Geokinetic, because earthbending is the coolest of the elemental powers and House Madero fits the flavor of the power.

When I was a kid I used to get in the basket with the puppies, kept grasshoppers and spiders. Then in my adult life – I have had horses, cows, dogs, cats, birds of prey (various) and chickens – I loved chickens, they were really fun to have around.

As for the House I would like to be in: House Montgomery. Could I be the younger sister of Augustine? I’m getting glimpses that in the end, Augustine is very decent and protective of his younger siblings. And how cool would it be to control your image… and take on the look of someone else? I think I would try to be someone different every day and see how I get treated! But that’s just a perk – in the end, House Montgomery seems to be a powerful house, moral (as can be) – and has a head of household that seems pretty good in my book.

This is harder to answer than I expected it to be!! Obviously I want to say House Baylor because at the core of it, they are still an amazing family amidst the chaos around them.
However, I have to go with my gut and say I’d probably belong to House Harrison as an animal mage. As a young child (and even now) I’ve always had a way with animals.
FUN FACT: I once played a penny whistle to a herd of cows in Ireland and they all came over to listen and wouldn’t leave. To be fair, cows are rather inquisitive, but I like to think I was just the female version of the Pied Piper.

I’d want to be part of House Baylor, not because they’re the main characters of the series, but because of their family dynamics. Most Houses are a lot more formal, cold, and/or mercenary, but Baylor is a family before they are a House. Every member is loved and valued for who they are, rather than what they can bring to the House, which is far more important to me than being rich or powerful. In terms of power, if I could choose any power and it didn’t have to be one that is actually related to the House, I would pick Breaker, because I like the idea of helping others and healing minds. If it has to be a Baylor specific power, then I guess I’d go with Metamorphose.

I honestly think I would go with the mnemonic ability. It might be a boring choice, but honestly, I’m a perpetual student – I love learning new things – and the idea of perfect recall is kind of hard to resist. However, I can understand the other side of it, in that, I’d never be able to forget things I had seen or heard, especially anything embarrassing. I’m one of those types of people who definitely feels second-hand embarrassment.

House Harrison of course 🙂 Wild animals have followed me home and tried to be my friends since I was little. Ducks, geese, rabbits, deer, turkeys, and peafowl are just a few of the animals that have followed me home. And of course I have dogs and cats 🙂 I had a dog bring a 20lb bag of dog food with it when it decided to live with us, her real owners decided to let us keep her since she kept coming back. I also used to rescue drowning bees, wasps. and spiders as a child and was never stung or bitten. My cats greet me at the door when I get home from work and insist on cuddles even though there are other people there. I get along with and understand animals much better than people though. I am told I am completely tactless, but very nice…
House Harrison… I already spend an unhealthy amount of time talking to my animals so knowing what they are saying thinking (and stopping the one pupper from eating more socks) would be SUPER helpful!!!

Specifically, wind… to create beautiful cloud patterns and sunsets, to blow away or bring clouds and rain, but also to create or destroy tornadoes, bring heat waves on warm winds and create rain in dry regions. I’m in Nanaimo, Canada, so we are more wet than cold, but it would nice to be able to bring a sunny day during winter once and a while.

I would want to be a part of House Baylor. First, I love the family aspect; family is everything to me. Second, I never do anything the “normal” way in my life. I always take my own path and do things out of order. So I think I would fit right in with House Baylor, because they have such different powers, they do things their own way, and they work as a family unit while sticking to their morals. I respect that and strive to do that in my everyday life. I think I would be a swarmer because I’d have to be different than everyone else in the house, but I would love to be able to process all that knowledge to help my family. Also, I really enjoy learning, and you have so much more time to learn when you can multitask like a swarmer! I’d hope Bug would share whatever calms him down though.
If I couldn’t fit in as a Baylor, my backup choice would be House Sherwood. I love making things grow and plants make me happy. I also enjoy helping people and I’m a science teacher, so having a chance to use plants in medicinal ways and further that research would be a great life purpose. I think I would make a pretty stellar herbamagos!

I would like to be part of Montgomery house, and be an illusionist. Maybe this is not the most astounding power or the more potent , but I think it would be the most useful. It is not too dangerous to use, and subtle. People would almost understimate me, but I could be anyone anywhere and discover many interesting things in many interesting places. And Knowledge is the great power.

Probably House Harrison [which, i guess i’d have a lot of company! everyone loves Harrison!] because: first, all the fluff, and second, that’s a tight-knit group similar to House Baylor, but not as high-profile at this point and I couldn’t do high-profile. House Baylor, of course! I’m a sucker for the underdog. I like the fact that house isn’t defined by a particular talent – everyone is welcome with whatever they bring to the table. No one in this house has yet been corrupted by house politics and power plays. House Baylor is also more sensitive to the needs of regular humans – who will always be the ultimate power. Hard to grow up in a house and stay true to the values that House Baylor exemplifies, but I’m willing to give it a shot and can’t wait to read more about them!
