  4. House Andrews, I hope you have a great day and all your little ducklings line up and follow along with no veering off to chase water bugs, etc.

    I am so excited about Sanctuary tomorrow. I love all of your books. You are the only author I set my alarm at midnight and wake up to start reading. Since I am retired from full time teaching and teach adjunct course online I can get away with that. There are two other authors that I will set my alarm early in the morning on release day and make coffee and get off to an early start. But you are the only ones I wake up at midnight to read!

  6. I am at the beach with a dozen plus family members in the best house we’ve ever rented. I have my new Nook. It will be set up today. You might not actually see me tomorrow, because I will be reading. I hope your week is at least as good as mine!

    The Horde may be doing Tigger bounces for Roman, but we know when to be fluffy too.

  15. Happy book day for tomorrow!!! Of course I have pre-ordered, the moment the announcement hit, but due to the time difference I have to be more patient!! the book will probably be on my Kindle at noon.. Can’t wait!!!!

  16. Totally random comment: I had a dream that I was at a book convention, and Ilona and Andrew were meeting the BDH at a restaurant for dinner. Since we were carpooling, I decided to ride with them – in their Miata?! I was like – this is a very small backseat for someone as tall as me – but no way was I going to give up the opportunity to hang out one on one (two) with them. And they looked exactly like they did in their most recent promo picture. 🙂

  22. Amazon says my copy will arrive some time “before 11:00 PM.” It had better be waaaayyy before or I’ll be up until 3:00 AM reading it, to my wife’s annoyance.

    • I ordered a hard copy and just now I got an Email from Amazon saying it will be delayed. Arrrrrggggghhhh

      Anyone else having this problem?

      • Hi Big Mike, I’m sorry to hear this. Did they give a reason or estimated new date of delivery?

        • The text of the message was as follows:

          “Hello,
          We’re encountering a delay in shipping your order. We’ll send a confirmation as soon as it ships and communicate the expected delivery date. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

          Along with words to the effect that I can refuse delivery or ask for a refund. (As if!!!!)

  25. * checks watch * — less than 9 hours to ebook release and I have an email notification that the hardcopy is in the mail.

    Rubs hands, makes tea, clears calendar, prepares gift list, and readies for a whole lotta online delight!

    Oh, and practicing that 4-lettered word: w*it

  26. I wonders… if the BDH is a tiny bit quieter on release day as we devour our goodies.

    Of course we come back hungrier the next day as we snack on all the books leading up to the new book.

  30. in Afrikaans, getting your ducks in a row usually refers to trying to herd your kids single file…. we’re in Texas at the moment and had a good laugh from when I told my husband’s co-worker I just need to get my ducks in a row (pointing at kids) and she’s like ‘uhm say what now?’

    and on that note… who’s in the USA during a release week? I AM! Who will be visiting the merch store? I will,hell YEAH!
    I am super excited!

  44. finished Santury…Thank you so much, for all your hard work and just to let you (both) know I absolutely love your abilities to write a good story. thank you thank you. biggest complaint upgrades, in software, wouldn’t let me get to an earlier time zone, so had wait the extra 2 hours, oh well still loved the story and wished it was longer but still very happy.(yes a very greedy BDH member since book 3 of Kate Daniels series and book 2 of Edge was when I found you)

    Back to reading until I fall asleep and the iPad hits me on the nose! 😀

  49. Got my e-copy of Sanctuary at midnight while I was sleeping. Reading it now. Roman needs his eggnog with all that’s happening with him.

    Off to keep reading while keeping an eye on work this morning.

    Pssst…eventually the Horde will probably want a t-shirt saying “…Those assholes wish I was dying. Instead, I am pissed off and filled with the horrible love of my god….” saying by Roman. That’s if there isn’t one already. 🙂

    • E-books are available as soon as each time zone reaches 00:01 of their release day 🙂 . The timer on the first page counts from the time it was set, it’s not connected to the book retailers. I hope this helps.

    • No, the e-book should be available to everyone now, the audio is out too, paperback deliveries obviously differ but I know a few people got theirs too 🙂

      The clock on the first page counts in days since it was set, not in tune with book retailers.

    • All the links and information will be provided as soon as House Andrews are ready to open the store. It is not open yet 🙂
