Any plans for the merch shop reopening at Sanctuary release time? – M in the comments
This is a tentative yes: when the Sanctuary novella is published this summer we will likely be able to celebrate with official merch.
I say tentative, because releases are busy times and House Andrews have to fully recover to be up for all of it. Things are progressing well after the unexpected surgery last week (thank you to everyone for all your well wishes), so we’re optimistic and making arrangements.
To this end: because we’ll need to get the designs commissioned and all our kolovershi in a row, please let me know below what merch you would like – it will be Roman’s release so there will be a focus on his quotes and items, but if there’s anything else from the other books, put it in the comments too.
We may have a poll voting on your suggestions, because you guys always come up with so many hilarious options. “Wanna come back to my place and pet my nechists?” probably kills on Volhv Tinder hehe. A small disclaimer here, however: as much as we love Roman’s Eeyore nature and calling him a “Care Bear in the streets/ Dark priests in the sheets”, some of those classically-known images are copyrighted, so we won’t be able to make merch with them. I’m sure you’ll come up with suitable alternatives.

-Ferret heist stickers or magnet…for my washer of course 😂. Two so I could put one on my tool belt-i work on a horse farm and they tend to be escape artists so apropos.. Oooh! Magnet! Then i could use it to find the fencing nail i dropped (always drop one nail or screw or staple then spend twice as much digging through the dirt to find it because loose sharps are bad for the big babies) . I’ll just punch a hole and string it on. Work belt bling. If I bedazzle it too, I’ll get to watch my boss’ eyes roll back into her head. Fun!

Omigoodness, I would love “Schrödinger’s Synod”!!! Great thing is – that’s great for gifts for people who aren’t ‘in the know’ too. 😀 That said, I also very much appreciate “Roman Holday” with nechists decorating the tree and “I’m not evil, I’m just beloved by evil things.” I can’t wait to see what’s chosen.

Very late to the party, but I’ve been wondering why no one has mentioned a Curran quote from “Magic claims”: “Sometimes the world needs a roar” with a stylized lion head. (My lap is full of the puppy AND the kitty, so I can’t twist around to reach the book to get the exact quote, but I’ve been waiting for the comments to open up to suggest that one.)
