UPDATE: WE HAVE OVER 1,000 ORDERS. WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON…

But first, disclaimers.

Duration: the store will remain open for one week from today.

Refund policy: each item is printed to order, so we can only refund/replace broken or defective items. We can’t refund wrong size or wrong color. Please be sure to order the right size. Types of replacements we have issued in the past: broken mugs, mysterious burn stains, wrong item entirely, and design misprint. To request a refund, please use the contact form on the store’s site.

Designs: if you see an existing design that is not available for an item you want, you can use the store contact form to email us and request it. So if you are in Canada and you want a mug design from US store but on a notebook, let us know through the contact form on the store’s site. We will do our best. Disclaimer: not all designs are suitable for all items.

Item availability: we do not control the stock. It comes from the vendors. But if you really want an item that is not available, let us know and we will try to get it for you even after the store officially closes.

Item Quality: we do our best to only use highly rated vendors. That’s why Aussies are missing mugs. That vendor’s rating is 6.5 while we try to stay with 8.5 and above if we can. If you are in Australia and are absolutely dying for a mug, let us know and we will try it.

International Discount: if you are located in AUS, CAD, EU, or UK, please use the code HorridShipping to get a small discount on your order. Sorry about crazy prices.

Theme: The store features a small amount of permanent designs for each series. In addition, special items are available to support new releases. This time that release is Magic Clams. Now you got me doing it, damn it. Magic Claims. Majority of the new stuff will be related to that title and available for a limited time. Meaning if we open the store for an Innkeeper release, some of the Wilmington stuff like Keelan collection, will not be available at that time.

If something goes wrong: if we royally screwed up somehow, the store may be temporarily closed until things are fixed. Any affected orders will be refunded. Your orders will be held for 24 hours before they are filled.

Please only buy stuff that you want. These are not heirloom quality items. This is just fun stuff.

Don’t forget the chat today. We will be live streaming it to Youtube, so even if you didn’t get into zoom chat, you can see it there. If you tried to register for the zoom but were not able due to it being full, try attending anyway. People register and then don’t show up so you might get in.

  3. A word of caution for fellow fans and orderers. I just attempted to place an order of mugs and coasters as a birthday gift for a friend. I entered the intended recipient’s name and address, but I missed a turn-off in the process after opting for Pay-Pal to pay for them. Instead of going to my buddy apparently they’re coming to me. I don’t want to distract the already busy IA operation to waste time fussing over an order, but if I can head off the mistake for other fans, just watch where you’re clicking.

    • That’s probably because you didn’t change your PayPal shipping address and it defaulted to you.

      so anyone shipping to someone else using PayPal needs to change the PayPal address or merch will go to the PayPal default address.

  8. Just out of curiosity, why only have the store open for 1 week? Do you pay a fee for the storefront as long as it’s taking orders, or is it more the hassle of managing it so you want to limit availability?

    The site gave me the right country where Iβ€˜m from, with the right currency, but still I was – as I know now – on the wrong cataloge, which indeed gave horrendous shipping prices. As I donβ€˜t have much money, it was way too much and I closed the shop disapointed…
    Today I couldnβ€˜t resist another look at the blog, and Iβ€˜m so happy that I saw your remark.

  15. sqewwwww thank you all for the international shop.
    a quick question hey for you @Mod R- wondering if you might know. trying to be careful with the t-shirt orders because of the print on demand, and the sizing seems really small e.g. the width of the 5xl being around 88cm. is that the width for the front of the t-shirts only rather then the full circumference which is what I’m used to seeing?

    I’ve sent a question to the vendor just in case they can advise before the shop closes in the week to allow me to order but thought it was worth asking here too just in case you or others might know from the previous shop opening.

    • I will be able to tell you on Saturday or Monday, as my t-shirt comes in 😊.
      I know the US vendor made things β€œtrue to size”, as far as comment feedback. For U.K., the feedback hasn’t come in yet. Emailing them is the best course of action for now.

    And then practically the first thing I see if “That’s Dr. Loose Cannon to you…” on a shirt. Woo! …a shirt that isn’t available. So I got the mug.

    (I am betting this was a previous release that I missed… And the worst bit is, I think I was all “I never wear t-shirts, but this would be a perfect mug for work.”

    Which it will be. But now I’m thinking cutting the collar and sleeves off of the tee would make it comfortable – and perfect for when I’m teaching.)

    • I just so happen to have a UK Kitty Kitty mug and can describe that it has a Curran lion with Here Kitty Kitty Kitty underneath on both sides.

    Also, a hoodie that zips up would be nice too, maybe in the future, as some of us older people get hot, then normal, then hot again ALOT, but never seem to go cold, so a zipper is great otherwise i’m forever taking it off and then putting it back on. Ans everyone notices that were as just zipping up on unzipping doesn’t attract hardly any notice

  36. I loved looking at the items. However, I need a glass cube with the ‘freaky s***, testing device’ logo on it so that I can put it on my desk in my lab. That way every time something weird happens I can take it out.

  37. How do you measure to make sure you get the right tshirt size? The graph doesn’t make that much sense to me.

    • Hi Amy, could you please be more specific on what the confusion is? πŸ™‚
      The sizes of the garments are given in letters- S stands for Small, M for Medium, XL for Extra Large etc. Each size is also detailed in a chart with 3 proportions: length and width of the garment and length of sleeve. All the values are in inches.

  40. I cannot expand or increase any of the images to the point of being able to read the texts. So sad, since I am sure I would like a new mug or pillow.

  42. I want to say thank you AGAIN for being size inclusive! And I love the Keelan quotes; they made me so happy.

    Also for having different mug options for the designs. I’m a mug collector, and a big tea drinker, and being able to buy one for my collection and another to drink out of (and therefore fade in the dishwasher) is so much fun.

    Lastly, I LOVED Magic Claims. You did such a good job referencing yet not rehashing things, and honoring where they are in their journey as parents and people, while still acknowledging their basic natures. I felt like I was being hugged as I was on a new adventure.

Uuuups, I’m from Germany and I might have ordered stuff randomly before Mod R’s PS on the different store fronts was up because I went by category and not by region. πŸ™ˆThe store let me order, though? And the shipping wasn’t too bad. I already received a sent confirmation for my BDH fun sweatshirt although that’s an US item (apparently). The EU t-shirts and mugs of my order are still being processed. I just checked and have a (US) ripper cushions pillow and (US) BDH tote bag as part of my order, which have not been sent, yet. I’ll just let myself be surprised and see if they make it over the ocean or not πŸ˜…

  44. I just wanted to give you feedback on the two mugs I ordered from the EU catalogue (BDH and Ripper Cushions large).

    Both mugs arrived intact, and were *very* well packaged! The shipment came fairly quickly and I got a shipment notice both times from DHL (the shipping company here in Germany).

    Both mugs are high quality and I hope they will stand up to frequent use… (we’ll see…).

    Looking forward to the next time the store opens and hoping for an expansion in products for the EU market. <3
