Life is kind of sucky right now. People are scared. Money situation for many in US is uncertain.

So, here are the first three books in the Innkeeper series for .99 cents. We wish we could give you something new, but we don’t have anything ready. (Working on that.) We tried making it free, but it’s actually kind of complicated and forcing Amazon to price match was taking awhile so we went with the 99 cents.

This is a reprint of subterranean’s collector edition. this is Not a new book. it contains clean sweep, sweep in peace, and one fell sweep.

This book is not permanent, meaning that once the plague is over, it will come down, so if you want it, grab it. Please share and retweet this post, so people who don’t have it and are looking for escape can snag it. All proceeds from the sale of this book, minus our literary agency’s costs, will be donated to CDP Covid-19 Response Fund. (PS. If someone see the BN edition, please throw a link at me, because I don’t think it’s live yet.)

    • Thanks so much for this…I have read many of your series’, but have never tried the “Innkeeper” set.
      HOWEVER (comma)…when I purchased/DLed the item (from your Amazon Link here)…I only received the first book (I scrolled through and verified)

  33. Maybe you’ve addressed this before, but I can never find any of your books in Publix or Walmart. As they are almost the only places I can still go it would be nice if your stuff was there.

    • Yes, it would be. 🙂

      Okay, so chains like Walmart, Costco, etc have buyers, people who decide what the store will stock. They usually purchase books in bulk and a discount. Our traditionally published books are often available, but titles like Innkeeper are self-published. They are printed on demand and therefore will never be available in Publix.

      • I have been able to get the last two Hidden Legacy books there. I have to order them on Walmart.com and pick them up in store, but they’re available. I’d support a local bookstore, but there aren’t any within an hour and a half’s drive 🙁

  34. Yippee! I just bought it via my nook. Then went online to B&N to find the link to share as requested and — oddly enough it isn’t showing up. (Searched via author and book title) Very weird. Book is available on B&N but apparently you have to go thru device (or maybe app) rather than computer.

    I also love how it hooks into the Edge series. So glad the prologue tied up Spider. Will we ever see a HAE for Sophie, George, and Jack? Ever find out about the fate for Evil Uncle Erian?

    What’s the likelihood of a series about the Drifen? So totally amazing how you can pack so much world building into a short book.

    Speaking of magical old houses, I recently came across Saving the Big Little House on Instagram and was immediately charmed. The house’s name is Louise, she is a Southern lady from Georgia and the Instagram posts are documenting her restoration. The captions on the posts are a hoot!   94. OH btw, Ilona did you know a second Jane Doe book was released this week? I LOVED the first one so much, which I only found because you recommended it here on the blog and I’m so grateful you did. I adore that book.

    I’m only on the 3rd chapter of the sequel so far and loving it too. Jane is awesome. I love her POV, especially when it comes to men’s and women’s roles and behaviours. It’s really inspired.

    I just thought since you have so much going on that you might have missed it, the release I mean, so I wanted to make sure you knew it was out.

  95. That’s such a wonderful thing to do, thankyou :). I have to say that I thought for a moment you’d written a short Innkeeper story called “Plague Sale” and I thought – wow, this is going to be good and wanted to laugh. I was wondering – do they sell plagues at Baha Char? LOL. That would be a most interesting short story to read, especially if you got on their mailing list somehow (hello Caldenia – it was complimantary) and they sent a free sample but sometimes forwarding addresses aren’t fully complete and they don’t add the apartment number – To Caldenia ka ret Magren or Current Dictator – directions: apply to population sample and wait 3-14 days…. like a flower packet. Oh dear. How did this get through the U.S. mail?! Just saying that could be hilarious.

  117. I would LOVE to purchase this but I’m in Canada, and it’s not showing up on Amazon Canada. I think I *could* buy it through Barnes and Noble but then it’d be separate from all my other ebooks in Amazon Kindle.

  121. That’s such a nice thing to do. Things are horrible right now but at the same time it seems like whenever you look around you can see people stepping forward and doing good (ugh, I feel weird saying that, I’ve always took the mickey out of my relative’s when they spouted spiritual woo woo). We just participated in the UK clap for carers and as my mother’s home is on a big estate it was really powerful to hear the huge noise made by all the people stepping onto their balconies or out of windows from 32 blocks of flats and cheering and clapping and ringing bells. It was nice even for me and it made my mum cry, she’s been very distressed by it all so it’s just good to see.

    • I just saw the same thing in the US. Every once in a while you’ll see crazy prices on things. Of course physical copies of House Andrews books are valuable, but over $1000 US is a little silly.

    We came to the House Andrews website for your adventures as a husband and wife writing duo (our situation – in the Pournellian sense we are non-fiction authors but only fiction writers so far) but have become entranced by the excellent writing.

    By the way, if the coronavirus starts to bring you down, look at the Diamond Princess cruise ship numbers – there is a light at the end of the tunnel (and it is not an oncoming train). Hint: if Diamond Princess didn’t get to 60% infected, it is unlikely we would ever see that rate in the general population.
