The new website is up and running. Thank you for bearing with us during this difficult time. We were shut down for whole 6 hours. We would like to thank Aimee and Jayana of Anchored Design, who were amazing to work with.
HIGHLIGHTS
If you follow EMERALD BLAZE preorder link from the main page, you can now read the first two chapters.
BLOOD HEIR, codenamed Ryder, now has its own dedicated page. You can find it by clicking the button in the second menu. The posts will still appear on the main blog, but now they will also be listed on that page. They are organized from earliest to latest, but the latest post is highlighted at the top of the page, so you don’t have to hunt for it. If you are reading Ryder on that page, the links at the bottom of the post lead to other Ryder chapters, so your reading can be almost seamless.
Innkeeper website has gone away. Innkeeper will now have a dedicated page like Ryder, to make things easier to find. Innkeeper Series page has an area that informs you if the Innkeeper is currently active.
Some of the older free fiction is now only accessible through Other Fiction link.
The Release List is up to date.
You will be seeing minor tweaks. We are still waiting for some art and things have to be adjusted here and there. As of now we are resuming work on Ruder, which needs to be edited a bit. There might be some post reshuffling there, as we cut a few hundred words to make it leaner. This is about normal at this stage of the manuscript, so no worries.
A FEW OTHER RANDOM THINGS
The ebook of MAGIC SLAYS had vanished from Commonwealth markets for a bit and nobody can explain why, but it’s now available again.
Someone sent me links for the African American owned yarn stores but redesign resulted in us using a different form, so we lost a lot of your queries. Please resend and I will highlight the link in one of the posts.
The responses to your emails will be delayed because of this and also because despite being repeatedly warned that it was a bad idea, Brandi adopted a puppy. He and other litter mates were rescued by Human Society from a backyard breeder where they were starved and only allowed to drink stagnant water. His tail is permanently crooked as the result and it proved a massive barrier to him being adopted. Until Brandi came along.
His name is Quincy and he has four types of intestinal parasites. He has his own medicine shelf in the kitchen. Currently Brandi is sleep deprived, cleaning up worms everywhere, and doing fun things like taking Quincy to be X-rayed because he might have eaten something he shouldn’t. Spoiler: he didn’t, but the bill was still $200.
So a little delay on emails.
Well, that’s all for this Friday. I am exhausted. The migration was a huge amount of work, but it’s done, and hopefully it’s more organized now. We have to do our weekly house cleaning and then it’s work. How was your week?

Very glad you survived the transition! The new site looks terrific. Hope you are recovering with a nice glass of (fill in the blank] of your choice 🙂 Congratulations to Brandi, and bless her for adopting Quincy – best of luck!

He’s such a little cutie! Brings me back to our puppy problems.. First time adopting a dog. Tiny 12 week old puppy managed to find and swallow a bone. A whole pork rib. Cue emergency out of hours vet & operation when he wasn’t yet covered by insurance, 2k bill.
Though I have to say it was nowhere near as bad as the feelings of guilt for somehow managing to miss that! He’s all good now, no complications, we got so lucky. He’s 2 years old now and we still have to watch him like hawks when we’re out in the park..

In one of his books, James Herriot brings a meddling old lady who has just lost her dog friend together with a terribly neglected puppy who needs a great deal of love and care to be healthy again. It’s one of my favorites. Oh Brandy, won’t you be a a wonder to this dog!

Just a thank you… Pre-ordered both ebook and audio ages ago and hyperventilated with glee when I saw availability of first two chapters.
I credit the Baylors (and you both of course!) for getting me though the pandemic with sanity and smiles In tact.
Good luck with the new site and puppers, both of which are fabulous!
