Reminder: Zoom at 11:00 am Central today.
It is Saturday, and we try to make sure that Mod R gets her weekend, so please direct all questions to storeadmin@ilona-andrews.com
The store is closed. We will be finishing your customer queries today, and items are going into production. The store will reopen for the make-up day on Friday 08/09.
The V-neck Issue
This is the email that will be going out to everyone who bought V-necks from the US merch portal in the first 48 hours. If you bought the slim fit V-neck, this doesn’t apply to you.
Unfortunately, the US manufacturer of the V-necks sold on our site abruptly discontinued them. They didn’t give us or our distributor any warning. They also declined to honor the existing orders.
We’ve created replacement V-necks. The fiber content of these shirts and care instructions are identical to the old V-necks. However, the sizing is slightly different. It is a slimmer fit.
We feel we have no choice but to cancel your V-neck order and issue a refund for the V-neck and associated shipping.
If you have ordered additional items, they will be shipped as scheduled.
We deeply regret this inconvenience.
PS. If you are receiving this message after the store closes, this email will contain a password that will allow you to shop at the store through Wednesday 08/07.
To say that we are upset about this situation would be a criminal understatement. We went round and round with customer service. We have a choice of the new deep V necks that are the same fiber content but slimmer fit, the unisex V-necks that are not fitted and have a very shallow neckline, or performance V-necks that are 100% polyester. There is no way to substitute, because that is not what the customers purchased.
We deeply apologize.
We created a new collection with the deep neckline slimmer fit V-necks – it was the closest match – and they are available for purchase on the website on the front page. We priced them cheaper to apologize. The email will contain a direct link and a password.
240 orders were affected. We have to manually edit each one in two places and issue refunds.
Unfortunately, this is a family run business. We all went to a birthday dinner, and I think we might have picked up something at the restaurant. 2/3 of our workforce is out with either COVID or flu. We are going slow and steady, because we must make sure we are not making a mistake with your money, so we ask for your patience. We should be able to get through most of the V-neck refunds in the next few days. We should get it done before the make up day on Friday.
If we didn’t get to your design request in time, we are very sorry. We received a huge number of requests and we did the best we could. We will keep it in mind for the next time.
The store will be reopen for one day, 08/09, for make up orders and last minute items.
Update: It’s COVID for all of us. Yay.

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear you are all fighting COVID and have to deal with such nonsense from the awful vendor at the same time! 😢 Don’t stress about the shirts: it’s not worth it, nobody blames you, and anybody affected will surely understand.
Feel better soon💕💕💕

I’m sorry to hear you all caught Covid; I hear the latest one is the most contagious yet and it has been on the rise up and down the West Coast and in pockets across the country.
What a drag with the shirts–I almost ordered a V-neck because I generally like them.

We have a saying where I come from: when it rains it pours, life sucks. Stay strong!

oh covid. one of the few things you can curse and know the whole world curses with you. Feel better!
John says
Get well! I have had a number of friends with COVID.
Don’t worry about the store, it has been a year and a half since the last time the store was open, we can be p*tient until things are better.
I picked up a cough/sinus infection at a graduation party on June 28th.
Saw two different doctors and the sinuses are now fine but still waiting on the cough to go away. Second doctor said it would take a few weeks and to wait it out.
Only positive is I don’t have to go into the office as to not cough all over everyone else.
Negatives are the cough and my cat is not happy when I cough when she is laying on me.

Oh, my gracious. I hope you all get well. It’s been hitting my community pretty hard, near Gainesville, FL. My courtesy nephew has been out of work since July 25 with COVID. I’ll keep your family in my prayers.
Sam says
Oh, man. I hope you all get well very soon.
Mechcat says
Oh no! Covid sucks. I highly recommend the Paxlovid, if it is at all an option! Rest up, the Horde can activate our Emergency Extra Fluffiness Mode (EEFM). Get everyone well, then worry about other things. I’ll b happy whenever my stuff arrives, and thinking about it gives us something good to look forward to.
For the good of House Andrews, the Horde can, must increase our fluffiness lvls and exercise patience, sending all good wishes to HA and to all those afflicted with this vile plague that they will have a speedy recovery.
I’m pretty sure that’s why cats get so fluffy in emergency situations, right? We can fluff-up.(no, bad abbreviation) Fluffify? Fluffinate? Fluff-out (like hulk-out)? Not sure what the verb of fluffy is… or should b… Horde?

Just came here to say I bought the “3 evil things” women’s flowy rolled cuffs muscle tee, it came yesterday, and I am obsessed with it! The shirt is so incredibly soft and comfortable, and the fit is perfect! I also got a horde mug and it arrived perfectly intact. I’m enjoying my tea in it this morning. Thanks for the great merch.
Mary says
when is the store open again?
