It’s Almost Here! But first how do I use Tapas?
Finally, the first two episodes of The Innkeeper Chronicles webcomic will available on Tapas this Friday 08/19! But first… how does one use this platform?
With this snazzy article, you’ll be able to dive into the webcomic adaptation of our hit novel from the convenience of your phone without getting up from the comfort of the couch!
We’re here to help with this simple how-to guide on the Tapas webcomics and webnovels app. While you can access the content through the web as well, we assure you that the app will provide you with a much more magical experience.
New to Tapas?
- The first step is to download the app.

- Now it’s time to open The Innkeeper Chronicles! Click the banner below to get started. To sign up, just follow the instructions on screen and you’ll be good to go.
- Since you don’t want to lose this precious series, tap the bookmark icon at the top right of the page to save The Innkeeper Chronicles to your Library! Now you can always go back to the series in the Subscribed section.
- Now you can start reading! Simply tap the first episode and start scrolling. Super invested? You can even leave a comment to start discussions with fellow readers!
Unlocking Episodes
Future episodes of The Innkeeper Chronicles will be available with Wait Until Free (WUF). This means that you have the opportunity to read the latest episodes by either unlocking episodes using Ink or waiting for the next free episode.
Unlocking Using Ink:
Ink is used to unlock episodes and support creators on Tapas.
Ink can be purchased in the Ink Shop, or earned for free by watching videos or completing special offers and promotions (subject to availability). The Ink Shop can be accessed through the More tab. Purchasing Ink will allow you to unlock the newest episodes immediately. Turn on 1-Tap™ for 20% off the normal Ink price of an episode and a smoother reading experience.

Unlocking using Wait Until Free:
If you’re a patient person (we’re not…), you can also use Wait Until Free (WUF) to access episodes. Please keep in mind that the latest episodes released will not be available through Wait Until Free.
Once you’ve read or unlocked your latest episode, a WUF timer will start the countdown to your free episode. The timer ranges from 24 hours to 7 days depending on the series. For More information on WUF, please check out this page!
The timer range can be checked through the series Details page. You’ll always be alerted on the series page when a WUF episode is available to you, and the series can also be accessed through your Library in the Wait Until Free section. Once the timer is up, you can use your WUF to unlock any episode you have not yet read, marked with the yellow WUF icon!
Turn on Your Notifications!
Lastly, remember to turn on your notifications in More > Settings > Allow Notifications so that you can come back every Friday to Tapas for the latest The Innkeeper Chronicles episode! Yes, now you get your weekly dose of The Innkeeper Chronicles TWICE, once on the blog and now on Tapas!
