    It is lovely artwork. I can’t remember… Did Doris have an option for buying prints of the Innkeeper artwork? I really liked one of the ones of Baha-char, and this picture, too.

  23. Hell yeah!!!!! Great cover! Dynamic with promises of great characters and lots of action. I read books via a kindle app as some covers are just creepy, but this, this I would buy the hard copy and walk around town. Kudos to the artist and you. ♡ (Is there an ETA for Maud? )

  27. Oh yay! Fabulous! At first my link wouldn’t click and all I had was a close up of what appears to be a disintegrating astral body. Excellent image on its own, but I’m thinking, where is the cool sword? Persistence paid off and I finally got the full image! I can’t wait to read it!

  112. Lovely painting! I really like Maud as a character, and Arland is priceless! Now I wonder how this new arc is going to follow where you left us with so many questions in the last book! Will it be centered around Maud? This paitning would suggest so, but I’m sure that you are going to surprise us even more than that!

  113. Fantastic!! She so TOTALLY knocked it out of the park!! Of course I would purchase any book you wrote, but if I didn’t see your name the picture would have caught my eye and caused me to find out more about the book ( which is what you are going for – right?). So now my curiosity is stirred and I want to know what is going on with Maud (Maude?). Sorry, can’t remember how her name was spelled. But, I DO want to know where she got those awesome swords and who she is using them on. ?

    As if you don’t already have enough on your plate! Now you will have the BDH (me included) whining about when the next Innkeeper is coming out, in addition to all the other whining we do about when things will be coming out (Kate 10, Hugh, Roland POV, etc, etc, etc). Need, need, need, want, want, want, more, more, more!!! ?

    Hope all is going well with the packing and moving and that you make it into the new house (with new flooring completed) in time to enjoy Christmas there! ?

  135. The cover reminds of the first time I witnessed an Arclight barrage in 1968. Even though I was miles away, it reminded me of my vision of Tolkien’s Smaug, or even wailing banshee. I can see Maud being covered by Arlen with a weapon as dreaded as that. The sound, the fury and the uncanny light. Go get em girl.
