Ruby Fever hit all the lists and sold all the copies.
#10 on USAT
#12 on NYT
#2 WSJ in ebook and #8 in fiction overall
Thank you so much, guys. The lists were hard to crack this time because many awesome books came out at once, but our sales are up, and the publisher is very happy.
The team at Avon sent us these gorgeous flowers.
Thank you to Erika, Kelly, DJ, and the entire Avon team who worked so hard to make this release a success, and most of all, thank you for reading it. BDH is the most amazing group of readers, and all the other authors should be green with envy. 🙂
Also congratulations to the incomparable Beverly Jenkins whose To Catch a Raven shares a book birthday with Ruby Fever and made USAToday!
Now onto other things. We have a firm draft date we have to meet for the Innkeeper, so we will be digging into it in the next few weeks. You might see more story posts but less personal posts until we are done. It’s crunch time. As Tim Gunn once said, “Time to rally!”
Congratulations! You all do such wonderful work! <3 May the next parts flow together with ease.
Awesome, you guys deserve everything wonderful!! You kept us all sane while the world has gone insane. Thanks for all the hard work and letting us peek behind the curtain.
Mae Bar says
We’ll buy anything you write! Usually in multiple formats!
Lin Silverman says
I cannot fathom how you produce such amazing work, full of wonder and joy, time after time – but I am very grateful for it.
Congratulations! Your hard work really paid off! It was an Awesome book and a great end to the trilogy!
Thank you as well for taking all the time with the launch events – plenty of authors don’t, it really was appreciated!
Congrats! You deserve all the praise and accolades you receive. We love you and your wonderful books! Thank you!
Too bad Arabella’s story doesn’t fit their brand as they and you have such a successful history together.
Yay! Could not have happened to a better book!
“Ruby Fever” is awesome!
And so is House Andrews! Thank you once again for a great book. You may have had a slog writing it, but that does not show in the finished book.
I’ve read it twice so far and will do so again when I’ve read a few of the books I’ve bought and not read because I was busy with RF.
Congratulations, you earned it! I hope the short break from us helped you recharge and enjoy your success
Moderator R says
Both House Andrews and I missed the BDH!
But naps were good 😀
You also deserve all good things! Thank you for all you do and for the fabulous teasing way you do it!

+ 1,000,000 Congratulations, it’s richly deserved! (and thank you, Mod R, you’re awesome as well!)
BDH salutes Team Awesome / HA. It is literally our pleasure@
Congratulations and well done! Ruby Fever was another 5 star addition to an excellent series. 🙂
Congratulations on a well deserved successful release. Knowing the numbers are great, I hope you will at least be able to sleep. Hopefully the Innkeeper work will be satisfying. Hugs. 🙂

Thank you for the awesome book and congratulations on such visible success – may all your future endeavours prove any publishing house wariness wrong 👍😁

Fantastic! You deserve it all and more.
Huge congratulations! Go HA…
Maria R. says
Many congratulations on the Ruby Fever success (BDH thought it was foretold 🙃) always appreciate any works you’ve shared with us.
Have a good weekend.
Oooh, need to check out the new Beverly Jenkins. Love her Blessings series.
If anyone complains about extra story posts, bless their heart. There’s not much else you can do for someone like that.
I hope you take some more time for yourselves as well. I just kind of screwed up next year’s vacation reservation, because I was in the wrong headspace and chose in haste. If I’d taken more time to breathe, a better opportunity probably would have showed up. We’ll still have a great time but this is a real lesson for me. Take as much time as you need and get things right.
RF was excellent and worth the wait. Whew, one worry less and on to the next book. Sorry to hear about your furry friend, always a sad situation.
Amanda P says
RF is Fantastically, Awesome to read and listen to.
Many congratulations to you both and the flowers are lovely 😍
Also I’m enjoying the graphic audio of innkeeper and your Tapas IK series I’ve got to chapter 9 and have run out ink… oooops 🤭
I read the german rdition “Rubinglut”, it was released yesterday. The Book was really awesome. And the German Edition came only 1 week later that the English one.
Congratulations, my favorite authors, from my whole heart!
Thank you for your fearless imagination, hard work and perseverance!

You guys work so hard for us! I, like other fans of House Andrews, am incredibly grateful for how much you produce and the quality of writing. It has most definitely helped this nurse get through the pandemic. Thank you, thank you!
Congratulations!!! You all are simply awesome!!
This is great!
I hope this bodes well for an Arabella trilogy.
But either way, you rock!

Congrats! Ruby Fever, Soul Taken and Graveside Bar and Grill all coming out on the same day gave me stress palpitations, but it’s the best kind of stress. It’s been a glorious two weeks of reading. 🙂
Loved the book and have been re-reading the series I have a question I hope someone can answer I have been looking for the short when Nevada gives birth but the short segment in Ruby was can’t find it in the series or in my anthologies if you know where it is please let me know as I really want to read it again I remember it being amusing thanks all
Moderator R says
Here it is, the Cool Aunt 🙂 https://ilona-andrews.com/the-cool-aunt/
Thanks so much I really enjoyed reading it again I hope it gets published as an ebook short because it is great fun!
Good to know thsy ignore it, my cat doesnt ignore plants… Sadly.
Just in vase you didnt know, the plant next to it is poisonous to cats as well. Its a dracaena type right? I got the same one. It stays alive and survives me, which is something. Yay.
Mel, that plant looks more like a Pothos, Ivy shaped leaves, rather than a dracena with long slender leaves. Pothos are irritants to humans and probably to other animals also. They have needle shaped crystals that cut into your mouth.
Ohh whoops you are right, i confused the names.
I got a cat that nibbles on every plant, even that one sadly, so its way out of reach. On top of a shelf, but a beauty to have.

Congratulations! I loved this book and the series. And all the other IA books obviously.
Can’t wait for Arabella’s book(s) 😉
Congratulations to you and Beverly Jenkins!
“You may see more story posts” I am SO on board with that!!
CONGRATS!! You two write a solid, tight, hold your attention, interesting story. Your talents are much appreciated and your accolades well deserved.
So glad for a big showing for you. You are such great writers. Such a joy to curl up with a book or blog entry.
Congratulations! I was also surprised at how many of the authors I follow published this August. So glad it was my birthday month because I asked and got many books 😁 Now I will have to check out Beverly Jenkins book out.
Congrats!! Well deserved!
Congratulations on the wonderful release news and the gorgeous bouquet of flowers! The book is wonderful and the dedication is deeply touching. Your talent is matched by your kind hearts.
PS Given how weary you’ve been, thank you for posting today.
Congratulations! While I love daily life posts, anyone that complains about more story posts is a person that I do not understand. 😁
I’m glad the release went well and that you all had a (small) bit of time to recharge.
Cool and many congratulations! And extra story posts will not be a problem I’m certain hehe.
Nice to have our excellent taste validated!!!
Thank you so very, very much for your amazing worlds and the wonderful (and sometimes scary) persons who inhabit them.
You make me laugh and make me cry and make me want to know what is going to happen next. Perfect!!!
Excellent. Well deserved. Love all your work. Innkeeper 👍 happily waiting. (Tho my family would scoff at my pretence of being patient 😜)
I am curious. Why didn’t Nevada tell Catalina about Linus? Aren’t sisters close?
So many things that I will stop at 1.
Moderator R says
It’s in the text 🙂, particularly in Chapter 12. I won’t repeat it here to avoid spoilers.
Congratulations! And the flowers are lovely! 💐💐💐
This may make no sense but it’s on the website.
“In this case, I am the best person,” the Scourge of Mexico informed her.
I have re-read Daniel and Hidden Legacy many times. You guys rock.
Debi Murray says
Well done, House Andrews! Ruby Fever is a smashing good book! I just started my 3rd reread. Thank you for the hours of reading enjoyment.
I know the writing can be hard, and life is challenging sometimes.
But you guys give us such a gift each time you release a book, I’ll never be anything but thankful. You deserve every success that comes your way in the wacky world.
Continue an existing series, write a new one, decide to hang it up, whatever makes you happy. I’m just grateful for your time and talent.
Congratulations! So well deserved! 💐
Thank you for all your amazing stories!
Congratulations, you deserve it!
Also, Great shoutout to Beverly Jenkins, she’s so talented! I love her books.

Congratulations on a great launch! You guys deserve it!
And I hope your brief break from the ravening Horde helped recharge your batteries — and yours too, Mod R, because we don’t want to risk losing you here either!
I haven’t read Ruby Fever yet because I am in the middle of an Innkeeper series re-read, but I did my bit for your numbers by reserving a copy at my independent bookseller and then buying it as soon as it arrived.
Then I went to Amazon and bought the whole Hidden Legacy series on Kindle to supplement my tatty paper copies. And also rounded out my Kindle set of Innkeeper books so I have them in paper and ebook formats too. And made a note of which KD and Edge books I have in paper but not Kindle so I can buy them as well later this month… House Andrews is getting to be an expensive habit…
But as long as you keep writing them, I will keep buying them. I got my sister clued into your books several years ago, and she now buys everything you write too.
Hey, Mod R.
Congrats on the release and I hoe you all were able to rest.
Not sure I’m doing this attachment/link right, but I saw this at the Academy and it made me think of all of you.

I got to read RF from my public library over the weekend! It was so much fun!
Congratulations! And thank you for putting the comment about the cats vs. the lilies in for those of us who worry about such things! 🙂
Thankyou! It was a fun read. So many Characters I care about

Thank you for an amazing wrap up. Re reading will start soon.
On a personal note Our House is tickled pink. We are part of Clan Duncan. My daughter married into the Duncan branch from near Edinburgh, her husband’s grandfather having last name Duncan. Keeping a family tradition on my side of the family we used his mum’s maiden name as a first name. Hence grandson named Duncan. The icing is that Duncan’s sister is Fiona.
It is not uncommon to see the names individually, but quite a happy jolt to see them linked.
Congratulations! I loved everything about it!

Aahh, I think other readers should be green with envy! How lucky are we to be gifted with HA generosity. 💖

Always so genuinely and incredibly happy to hear of anything good happening to y’all, professionally or personally. My very very favorite authors!🥰
Ruby Fever was great, and I *cannot* wait for the new Innkeeper to be finished, as I’ve somehow been waiting(by the skin of my teeth) for it to be published in its entirety before I read it, since The Innkeeper chronicles are my very favorite by y’all and super special to me.
The innkeeper chronicles are my favourite too. Can’t wait to hear more about Maud and Arland💃💃💃💃
congrats! enjoy the break/digging in
Congratulations!!! You deserve it!

Congratulations! I know Ruby Fever was a slog for you to get through. Hopefully, the rest and relaxation from the Horde helped out. 🙂
When the Horde says we will read anything you write, we mean it.
Have fun with writing more Innkeeper. Friday will be here before we know it.
Best of the Catlina’s books. I had preordered it on audible. It was a difficult wait until release of the audiobook while other readers were already admiring how good it was. And as a humanitarian worker, I was grateful for the donation of some of the gains to UN Refugee Agency.
Congratulations. Well deserved, as always!
Karen P says
You deserve ALL the attentions!! And the brushes and pets, thank you for writing, you bring joy to so many, joy cannot be under estimated.☺️
I read it and loved it. Now reading again more slowly to catch any details I missed the first time. Congratulations on a great story.
