I come bearing AUDIO GOODIES from GraphicAudio!

The GraphicAudio full-cast dramatized adaptation of Magic Claims, the second novella in the Kate Daniels: Wilmington Years series, is coming on November 13th, and I have three samples to tide us over until release day!
Curran Lennart has been entrusted with introducing the book and welcoming the listeners.
Also, Conlan is *so* his father’s son.
The result, well…

The Horde’s favourite polite diplomatic incident! Are you Team Consort or Team Consort?
What’s brown and sticky and shouldn’t be used to poke freaky shit you find in the scary woods? Keelan has some important survival advice for the younger generation:
And speaking of the Kate Daniels world, I have more good news: GUNMETAL MAGIC IS COMING TO GRAPHICAUDIO!
Those of you who caught the purple shag carpet hints in our previous audio update were absolutely right. Andrea is getting her own full-cast dramatized adaptation.
I’m working through the adaptation script as we speak. There’s no confirmed release date to share just yet, but I will keep you updated as soon as details of preorders are official.
In the meantime, we have the Magic Clams on November 13th and Blood Heir on December 30th, just in time to ring in a better 2027.
As always, happy listening, Horde!

First?! These snippets are amazing lol
First clam of the season 🦪
Oh lord, that intro was so funny! Brought back all the fun of running away with the accidental typo. Thanks for these snippets! They are really good
Love it!
Huzzah! The Horde rejoices!!
That intro is the best! I laughed so hard! It’s perfect!! 😍
Hehehehehe, Magic Clams!
And Gunmetal Magic, wheeeeeee!
Both are pre-ordered! Loved the clams intro. All Hail the Clams! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can’t wait to pre-order Gunmetal Magic.
Thanks Mod R for all the yummy stuff.
I hope we get Curran’s intro when the GA book comes out. Conlan’s response is priceless.
That would be a great way to get the book started.
Yes, that will be the intro, it’s not a blooper 🙂
Yippee!
Magic clams or not, I am not eating that 😄
Oh my gosh!! Finally Gunmetal Magic on Graphicaudio! Woohoo!!!!
Magic Clams for the win!
Thanks for the morning chuckle!
Yay! More House Andrews goodness in GraphicAudio!!
yay!! this is great news and great clips!
So funny! Totally unexpected and the whole family is in on it! 🤣🤣
BTW: I f you can’t get enough Michael Glenn, he is perfect as Emerson in the GA Amelia Peabody Mysteries.
I love the intro 🤣 I hope that stays
The book shall forever be known as Magic Clams, I don’t even know why you bothered correcting that typo! You’ll have to insert an easter egg in the next Maggie book about a delicious meal with clam sauce (book 2 or 3, doesn’t matter).
I keep finding new easter eggs in TKWNKM. I’m only on my millionth or so re-listen/re-read, and finally noticed that Ramond’s sword is named Emerald Blaze!
OMG OMG 😆 Are we having clams tonight? 😆😆😆😆
You have the most constantly enjoyable interaction with your fans! Thank you so much for your work and your thoughtfulness. I treasure (and often laugh at) all of your presentations. I was a dedicated fan for many years before I discovered your site.
Can we be both Team Consort and Team Consort? Choosing seems so unfair.
TeamConsort4Ever!
The clams was already pre-ordered & can’t wait for blood heir
I love that graphic audio showed the love to the Horde with that Clams/Claims bit. So funny!
Woo Hoo! Graphic Audio HAPPY DANCE!!
Break out the Spaghetti alle Vongole! In case you really want clams for dinner:
Spaghetti alle Vongole in Bianco
From NYT Cooking
Total Time: 15 min | Servings: 4 serving
Ingredients:
Salt
4 lb littleneck or other small clams in the shell, scrubbed
1 pound spaghetti
8 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
2 dried red chili pepper or 1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
1 1/3 cups Noilly Prat or other vermouth or white wine
4 to 8 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley
basil sprig
handful of cherry tomatoes
Directions:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, soak clams in cold water.
Add spaghetti to boiling water, and cook until slightly underdone; pasta will finish cooking in sauce.
Meanwhile, place a large saucepan over medium-low heat, and add olive oil, garlic and chili pepper. Sauté gently, reducing heat if necessary so garlic does not brown.
Add vermouth and clams, and cover. Clams should open in about 2 minutes. (If pasta is ready first, drain it and toss with a small amount of olive oil.)
Add hot drained pasta, cover, and shake pot gently. Allow to simmer for another 1 or 2 minutes until it is done to taste.
Discard any clams that have not opened. Add half the parsley, and shake pan to distribute evenly.
Transfer to a plate or bowl, and sprinkle with remaining parsley. Garnish with a few cherry tomatoes and a sprig of basil.
I can tell I’m going to laugh out loud so much! I love that GA went along with the clams inside joke. I’m still throwing my hands in air doing my best Grover impersonation at the Gunmetal Magic announcement. Sigh. So much goodness to look forward to in the next few months
🤣🤣🤣
Love it! I cannot wait for them to come out!
LOL. Magic Clams!!! way to go Curran 🙂
So funny. Thank you for the snippets.
I started listening to the intro as I left work and had to stop in the doorway as I collapsed laughing. Once I recovered, I tried to explain it to my 17yo coworker. It didn’t translate very well.
The funny thing was that at first I didn’t even process that they didn’t say Claims as I always think of it as Magic Clams! So funny!
Looking forward to both the GA audiobooks!!
Excuse me if you have already answered this, but has GA said whether they are going to do TKWNKM?
Now I am going to have to do a relisten of all the Kate GA adaptations!
I will be happy to read whatever HA writes whenever they write it! Thanks also for all the extra goodies you give us on the blog.
The shawl is gorgeous by the way!
Thanks ModR for all the funniest you share (Horde of dushegub kittens for one)!
Since I still think of the books as magic clams, that intro is perfection
