Hey, guys, we have some real life stuff going on, so no Arabella today. Nothing bad, just super busy. If you are waiting for the continuation, it will be some time next week.
But I do have something fun for you today. We are giving away one copy of the Kinsmen Collector edition from Subterranean.
This is a signed and numbered edition. It includes Silent Blade, Silver Shark, and Mere Formality and features amazing art by Luisa Pressler.
Subterranean does not reprint, so if you missed this, this is likely the only chance to own one.

I would go to the terrace to eat yummy food! Silver Shark was the first Linemen story I read and the food really stuck out.
Stephanie Lynn says
The food and the flowers would definitely be an incredible experience. I’m a gamer, though, so I’d definitely be up for an immersive experience if I could. I’d love to see where my imagination could take me.
Thanks for the giveaway and hope you have a fantabulous week 👍🏻

I’d grab books and food from the market and then have myself a picnic in the flower fields….and probably sneeze the whole time…but I’d be so happy.
Megan says
If I visited Rada, I would actively get lost wandering through the streets and chatting with locals until my nose and stomach colluded to try some pastries. After I would sink into my food coma by drinking some pink wine while drawing or painting some of the flowers. And only after I have taken the time to enjoy my own company, I would look for an adventure.
Mary Kay Carnahan says
You can never go wrong with food. 😋
Julie says

Michele says
I would start the morning off in the market, finding a place for breakfast. Then I would wander, browsing and shopping, until it was time to find another place to eat. After lunch, I would wander back to my place, maybe to nap.
Then I would find the concierge to recommend the best place to explore the gardens the following day, with a picnic to break up the day.
As the afternoon broke to a close, I would ready myself to head to dinner, a favorite place recommended by one of the hotel staff.
Mary Kate Birge says
I want to taste no I want to eat at least two of those fabulous sherbet or ice cream cones she spent years learning how to make for the idiot who finally came to his senses. For true.

The flowers – I used to have full lush gardens when I lived just a little further south and I miss the flowers and the summer perfume.
Jolene says
Love gardening, so of course I would visit the country gardens. And probably start a new wars stealing some dahlias for my new butterfly garden!
Skippy says
If I only had the opportunity to do one thing, I would browse the terraces looking for the cafe that just hits all the right flavor and ambiance buttons. Then I’d hang there for a delicious meal and a feast of people watching.
My ideal day in Rada would be to spend the morning immersed in the flowers and then retire to the terraces for a late lunch and the afore mentioned indolence. 😀
This actually brings back a wonderful memory of a fine day my wife and I had in the PNW doing a very similar thing. Perhaps not the quality of the dalhia’s of Rada or the old world flavors of the terraces, but it was a fine day indeed.
Kat Q. says
Visit the Terraces for the food!

If I was granted plot armor I’d get involved with the clan wars. With most of your previous works the inter-sides battles have always been engagingly written.
Krista says
Food tour. And not just eating the food, I’d want to see how passion cones, pink wine, and other local delicacies are made. For example, why is a stone oven a key factor in perfect passion cones? I’d want to learn about it from a baker who loves talking about their craft to enhance my eventual eating experience.
MaryB says
I would love to wander the Terraces and then enjoy some passion cones.
Sam says
Definitely the Terraces. I love food.
Heidi K says
Gardens absolutely! Just went on a family vacation and I dragged all my hapless relatives to the rose gardens. Possibly they were a little bored, but I could have spent another few hours examining each and every flower. I’d love to see the flora on Rada. There is a “Heidi” rose. Wonder how they name their dahlias on Rada.
Tara K says
i would definitely go for food. yummy.
Kelly says
Hands on anthropology by way of people watching, visiting the museums, and eating all the food (passion cone).

I would eat breakfast on the terraces before spending the day traveling the provinces and seeing the nature.
Claudia C says
Getting old is not for the faint of heart!
I would definitely get a class C combat implant.
“She moved like a woman thirty years younger. A C-class combat implant enhanced agility, reflexes, and hand-eye coordination. It shaved a few milliseconds off your reaction time and improved your accuracy.”
(Fated Blades)
Oh! To be able to move gracefully again 🥲

The flowers and the food, and bring home spices, recipes and flower seeds/starts
Robin says
Should I be granted a visa to visit Rada my first stop would be the Immigrants Evaluation Bureau. I would want to discover if any of my talents would be of value so that I might be allowed to stay. My second stop would be the seaside as I must admit to being a beach person given a choice.
Christie says
I would visit the restaurants. Purchase some local clothing, get checked for latent psychic abilities and get a job with a kinsman family. Woo hoo!!!

Definitely visit each of the providences(?) I vaguely recall that they each were names after flowers? so that would be super fun to go and visit the various cities and country sides. it would quite literally be alien🤣

I would want to pilot one of those flying cars along the beaches like some old Hollywood starlet with the sunglasses and the hairscarf. .. and maybe a button that shoots lasers at bad drivers.
