I am a foodie – so I would definitely be sampling some yumminess at the market and I LOVE flowers and botanical gardens…
I would like to spend a weekend at the Terraces enjoying the food and sights. See if there is a non-lethal version of the bionet for video gaming fun, and see if there is a festival with dancing and food happening and attend that.
Boy, I’d love to win this! What would I do? Wander the gardens and try to talk the gardeners into sharing clippings to bring back home and plant.
On to the market, shop, then sit to eat while time split between that, reading and people watching 😊
I think I’d head for whatever the Rada equivalent is to a Library and dig-dig-dig, and then apply for library work. Aside from acquiring a library job, I would naturally hunt down some passion cones. . . just for the sugar rush, of course.
I would try the wonderful food and enjoy the flowers. I would catch up with Ven and Claire.
I would try every single piece of food that I could get my hands on. You’d have to roll me away at the end of the day!
Can’t I do it all? Sightseeing first, then dinner, then intrigue!
Eat passion cones and visit the dahlias.
Definitely go to the Terraces to try the food. I’d love to try a passion cone!!! Then I’d have to go see the flowers.
I would walk the dahlia gardens. When I was reading my first kinsmen story I had to Google what a dahlia was. Now they are my favorite flower and I’m trying to grow some.
There are so many things I would want to do, check out the old jungle temples, visit the terraces, go out to the country and tour the amazing houses; but I think, because my favorite story is Claire’s (Silver Shark), I would want to work with refugees in Rada, help them adjust and get placed with houses.
I would eat go look at the flowers. maybe try to save seeds and bring them home.
I would look for the library and the art museum. Extra time would be spent reading a book on a terrace and people watching
I would certainly get some delicious food and then hopefully find maybe a festival, watch some dancing. Just enjoy the scenary.
I want to see the Dahlias
Quite simply I would visit the flowers, I love flowers.
As a gardener I would just want to wander their amazing gardens!
I would try to go on a few locality tours – where the famous kinsmen live, arena tours, garden tours, property for sale etc. Definitely a bionet adventure (maybe that is how tours are done), go to water, go to jungle and go to mountains and wander and finish with a foodie tour – best of every category of Rada local cuisine.
Food! Flowers- but definitely no battles.

Hire a yacht and go diving of course! I must ensure the galley has an excellent chef so I can indulge on some passion cones. As we hug the coast I might see many glimpses of land-loving flora and fauna. The day must end with some lovely pink wine and perhaps some of that quaint food that actually uses fossil fuels to cook!
I would definitely want to see the flowers. I also want to go to the Terraces and drink some of that pink wine!
I would look for restaurants with seating in the gardens. That way I can enjoy good food and beautiful scenery all at the same time.
I would visit the Terraces for passion fruit scones! They sound delightful.
I adore dahlias so I’d look for a botanic garden or other public park and bring a little picnic (ideally with some passioncones!) to enjoy.

Ooh the Kinsmen universe is one of my favorites. Silent Blade is my favorite of all – I love the cooking Meli does. I would visit the Terraces of course, but I would rent a little house with a garden full of Dahlias in Old Town and visit my good friend Meli, the chef, whom I’ve finally convinced to teach me her secret recipe for making passion cones.
I’d definitely go to the market. Delicious food and interesting people to watch!
Definitely visiting the terraces for food, then I’d do a bit of tourist shopping.
Visit all the repositories of knowledge! Libraries, academies, museums, etc., with quick moments to appreciate the amazing food and markets on my hurried scurrying between said repositories.
I have not read this series yet but I love the Inkeeper Chronicles and The Kate Daniel’s series. I would love to loose myself in another world that Ilona has created.
I would definitely go to see the dahlias, of course! i indeed reading the descriptions of the competitions between neighbors. honestly remind me of the competitions between the flower society members here in my town.
I would wander around, enjoy the sites and food and flowers (and beautiful kinsmen, from afar, a safe safe distance away). Oh, and buy some beautiful Rada clothes and get my hair done. That’d be fun.
Oof, I missed the US only fine print (dangit). Guess I will be daydreaming about owning a paper copy of Kinsmen in addition to visiting Rada, heh.
Definitely grab a passion cone, check out the flowers, and find a spot to people watch. It’s one of my favorite things to do when traveling somewhere new – find an outdoor cafe and soak in the world passing by.
I am easy and a glutton, I would get my 1st meal at the terraces, go look at flower and then back to the terrace for more food and tea, repeat until deported for over use of planetary resources.☺️
I would ask someone to let me try an ene- ribbon. If you had skill with one of these, you’d never have to wrestle with a brush-hog again. Whip, whip … the path is clear! Over grown hedges? A thing of the past after two passes! What a time saver and likely lots of fun too.
Backyard to the cottage with the chef. Learning to bake lemon zestiness,pick pink wine,garden Dalia’s,and meditate like a master with a whip…get it cooking/fighting. 😉
The yummy food!!! I am a lover not a fighter… lover of food that is!
I would grab a bottle of chilled pink wine and watch the storms on the coast.
I would make a day (or week… or year…) of it and visit the gardens, find a cafe in the Terraces for lunch, then go find a library or bookshop, (food break!), and later the market.
I would hit the markets. A laid back day of sampling the food as I stroll around look for fun knick-knacks.
I would want to see and smell the flowers
I would go to the terraces and taste all the different foods.
I would want to do it all, visit the shops, join a clan, walk through the flowers, and hopefully get a strange new talent. I would also like to fine my very own Ven or Celino.

I would go to see the Dahlias. I think those are such beautiful flowers, and the thought of all the varieties makes my heart pitter-patter.
