Art Print Roundup

Art, Blog 54 Comments | POST A COMMENT May 5, 2026 by Moderator R

I did not get much sleep last night. I am relying on tea and sheer will, so let’s hope I make sense. We have an art print roundup for you this morning, with several options from the artists who worked on This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me.

A note about shipping: a lot of the artists we work with are outside the US. The shipping costs have risen sharply, in large part due to the tariffs. If you want a signed print and you are in the US, you might have to pay more.

Because of this, all of the artists on this list offer INPRNT art. These prints are not signed museum quality but are still beautiful. They are more reasonably priced and have US domestic shipping rates.

So: INPRNT = unsigned print, local shipping for US.

Luisa Preissler

Fine art prints and collectible character cards featuring illustrations by Luisa Preissler, created for the world of This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews.

The prints are museum-quality giclée prints. Each one is hand-signed by the artist and available exclusively during a limited pre-order window.

Also available is a set of collectible character cards featuring Maggie & Everard, finished with gold details. The cards include foil stamping on both sides and rounded corners — designed to be displayed rather than stored away.

Pre-order period: May 1st – May 15th, 2026 (closes 8 PM CEST / Berlin time). All items are produced after the pre-order closes and are expected to begin shipping May 29th.

You can shop the signed fine art prints and character cards here:
https://luisapreissler.de/collections/all

Please note for US customers: due to current customs regulations, shipping is only available via DHL Express, which is significantly more expensive, and import duties may apply on arrival.

For a more budget-friendly option, the unsigned prints are available via INPRNT:
https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/luisapreissler/. This option does not include the custom character cards, however.

Helena Elias

Helena’s shop offers high quality collector prints in two sizes. They are giclée printing quality on matte museum paper.

She is located in Australia, so all prices are in Australian dollars (AUD); however, the prints are fulfilled through an international distributor. So while you are paying in AUD, your shipping will be domestic if you are in US and you won’t have to wait for your prints to clear customs.

Candice Slater

Candice Slater offers the landmarks of Kair Toren and Inheritance art through INPRNT.

The prints are unsigned, with domestic US shipping, and some are also available as posters, minis, framed prints, and stickers.

Leesha Hannigan

Leesha also offers art prints through INPRNT. While I do not see Sushi there right now, I am pretty sure she was going to add her. However, you can shop all of the other amazing art she has. The doggie. Look at the doggie!

Don’t forget to enter the vellum giveaway by signing up for our newsletter.

A reminder that our Merch Store will not offer art prints. We are doing vellum hardback inserts and the usual merch items like T-shirts, cups etc. If you want art prints, please order directly from the artists.

PS Mod R:

Ilona wrote this blog post for us, but she has a lot on her plate, so I’ve set myself as the author to ensure the comments come only to me and don’t flood her inbox. There is no deep conspiracy here, I’m certain we would all prefer House Andrews to focus on what they do best!

It is likely to open this month but I do not have an exact date, House Andrews are very busy.

For those of you who read in ebook but still want the art – we are planning on releasing a companion book of deleted and bonus scenes and all of this art will be in there. That volume will be self-published and you will be able to grab it from our store and all the usual retailers.

from https://ilona-andrews.com/blog/art-owlcrate-and-other-things/ . It will contain the art commissioned by House Andrews 🙂

“we will likely do some kind of themed box, with the printed copy of the companion book, bookmarks, stickers, merch packs, etc. This will be expensive but we will stuff it well. The target for the box is sometime this summer.”

Ooh I really want the printed book/themed box mentioned here!! the post says this will probably be expensive but that’s fine, it sounds sooo worth it!!! 😍😍😍
Will there be a chance for us UK and other international people to buy the box? please ? *beg* 🙏
No pressure I’m not asking for dates, but I’m new so I don’t know how you your boxes in the past worked. I’d love to buy. If there’s no shippping to the UK directly could I still buy and have it shipped to a US friend to send on to me?.. does HA do that?

Here’s one I’m hoping Mod R or the BDH can help with.
I’m shopping Luisa’s INPRNT for cost-effectiveness and I am compelled to add the gorgeous print of Elara and Hugh to my order of some Maggie prints, but I THINK I might have it already.
Does anyone remember if it was included in the original 2022 release?
“Kate Daniels – Limited Edition Print Bundle (Pre-order) SQ2837775” is how it reads in my ancient email receipts.
I have tucked these away for framing and safekeeping so I don’t have them immediately accessible to me.

I think the Elara and Hugh one was for the SE books from Arcane Society, so I don’t think it would have been included in the 2022 release. Iirc, those initial prints were all ones that were found in the first calendar, and Elara and Hugh werent in there.

Ok, I just double checked since the 2022 calendar I got is close at hand, and no Hugh and Elara. And I got a shipment notification in my emails for the SE books from Arcane that is from April 2024, so the art would have been made 2023, most likely.

Damn, these folks are talented. I usually avoid visual representations of book characters because they often don’t live up to what I see in my head, but these depictions are fantastic and better than what my imagination comes up with… thank you!

I rotate my art, I have found I stop seeing it over time, but changing what is where, and putting some away for a while solves that problem. I have to have picture storage, but I can’t run out of wall space while I have that.

Fair warning. Having recently ordered a gorgeous pandora style bead for my travel bracelet from a German company, the tariff added 25% to the total cost. I do not regret it, but I won’t be ordering again any time soon. Especially with the current uptick in shipping costs too.

In Luisa Preissler’s beautiful illustration, the three moons are in different phases while in the same part of the sky.
This would require 3 different light sources, ie 3 suns, and some way of arranging that only one sun illuminates each moon.
I think that’s impossible without solar reflectors on a massive scale – or much more powerful magic than we’ve seen so far.
It breaks my concentration each time moons in different phases are mentioned in the book, but I try to imagine them being widely spaced across the sky…

House Andrews had expert astronomer help and many calculations that ensured the moons were possible and accurate.

I wish Candice Slater’s art was also available from someone printing outside the US. Just mentioning it. I don’t even want to find out how much hassle having this shipped internationally without the company collecting the tax during the purchase would be.

That being said: The art is gorgeous, by all three.

gorgeous art! Honestly I would recommend if you are ordering from overseas do it sooner rather than later. the cost of shipping is going to rise sharply in the near future. without getting into the nature of futures, markets, could companies like dhl, FedEx ,ups and so forth buy jet fuel on futures exchanges months before they think they need it. they always buy jet fuel on the spot market ( current price) as well, but most is bought in advance. The problem is that that futures prices once the mess happened the futures price went up, and the spot price is crazy. plus there are shortages of jet fuel, that can’t even fulfill futures contracts in some cases.

the upshot is shipping is likely to really soar as the real.cost of it soars.
