I bought and listen to all of the innkeeper series with graphic audio. I pre-ordered the last one too. I cannot say how much I love listening to the books this way! it was like reading them for the first time. I first started reading your Kate Daniels series since they looked good and my maiden name is Daniels. I found your innkeeper series after that. I enjoy your writing so much!
Are you aware of the Edge books? It’s a four book series that introduces Jack and George who show up in Innkeeper now and then.
I love the Graphic Audios of InnKeeper. So much goodness. I lose it every time Arland starts “I am but a humble warrior . . .” It’s a good thing I listen to these during long drives when I’m alone. I’d probably scare some folks with my laughter. (There are also a few “I can’t cry. I’m driving. I CANNOT cry.)

First, congratulation on finishing Maggie. I am very happy and so exited for this new world. Hopefully it will come out soon. In the mean time, while I am (not so) patiently wait for this new book, I am going through the Hidden Legacy novels again. I have listen to these books so many time and yet every time I catch something new. Question, if truthseeker is the 3rd rarest, what are the top two? Also, can their children have a combination of more then one of their magic? For example, Linus is a heppaestus mage, but has a little ability of the siren magic, can their kids be a truthseeker and have a little of the siren magic or vice versa. Can Arabella have a secondary magic?
There are plenty of mages with dual powers in the books, so yes, the children can have a combination of their powers 🙂 . Baby Arthur Rogan already shows in Ruby Fever that he is both a telekinetic like his father and a Hephaestus like his great-grandfather. The general rule is that the two talents of a dual mage cannot be from the same branch of magic: so not two mental powers, or two elemental etc. I think Truthseekers and Sirens would both be will-based powers, so prob not that specific combo.
Arabella cannot have a secondary magic because she is a Metamorphosis mage and that talent is “jealous”, doesn’t allow the development of a second one- which is why most people derisively consider them “one-trick ponies”. Of course, we know from Arabella POVs like A Misunderstanding https://ilona-andrews.com/blog/a-misunderstanding/ that they do in fact have a few different abilities in their back pocket 😉
Thank you 😊. If truthseeker is the 3rd rarest, then what are the first two? Also the shochers that Nevada got are powered by magic, does that mean only people with magic can get them?
1. We don’t know what the top rarest ones are, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it anyway. After all, Sirens are so rare even the Keeper of Records had to come up with a name for Catalina. Who knows how many obscure talents are floating out there, not represented in these “3rd rarest” statistics?
2. Yes, shockers are specifically described as needing to be primed with magic to activate, so they wouldn’t do any good to someone without magic. Why would they subject themselves to the risk of implanting them for no benefit?

Hanging around in Patient Mode for the January release of Sweep Of The Heart on GA (I have all the other GA available). Looking forward to the “new” Sean with equal parts anticipation and trepidation.

Oh well, NBD, I got gotten more than my money’s worth … I never thought I would enjoy audible books so much as I have the Innkeeper and Kate series !!! The actors are just PERFECT in their roles !!!
Nora Sofyan narrated the Audible version of Sweep of the Heart and I have been listening to that while waiting. She is really terrific! Most narrators annoy me, but she really nails the different characters.
This is what I get for pre-ordering as soon as it becomes available. If I just waited a few more days, I would’ve gotten the greater discount. Oh well!
I love the innkeeper series. I already have all of the books and the audiobooks. When is the next book in the series coming out? There must be some significance to the magnolia tree growing on the vampire planet at the end of Sweep of the heart and Klaus showing up there at the end of Sweep of the blade. Also, more on the meeting of the parents. How does she save him?
There will be future works in the Innkeeper Chronicles series, but no date is currently announced. Other projects beckon first, because we’ve already had an Innkeeper release this year 🙂
Hi. I don’t know if this has been covered anywhere else and I just can find it, but is GA going to being doing the KD novellas as well? Was really looking forward to Magic Mourns as well as the Dali and Jim stories.
The Graphic Audio adaptations will cover the 10 main novels and the Small Magics anthology – as of yet, at least.

Thanks so much for this heads up. I bought all the books and have finished them and am eagerly awaiting Sweep of the Heart when it is released. I have all the originals (I have been reading them since the 3rd Kate Daniels book), but I didn’t have any audio versions. These are fantastic. So much so, that I didn’t want to leave the story and am now rereading all the physical books (I am currently on Magic Binds). Thanks for all the wonderful hours of entertainment.
