  4. Congratulations on another superb effort, both with your writing and with keeping the BDH involved! I’m beyond excited that we get such a great pre-holiday gift. When you mentioned confetti, it reminded me of a company in England that grows and harvests flowers in a wide variety of colors for their petals. The dried petals are sold as confetti. I love the idea of a pile of those petals softening your fall. Rest well, and I look forward to December 13!

  25. To add to the horde, thank you so much for the weekly joy. Like many others it’s been a bright light, I had my first baby in November and struggled with PND along with a bereavement.
    This was one of the first things I carved out for myself every week and helped me remember my love of reading. Gave me something to look forward to and talk about with my friends. The power of a good story cannot be overstated.

  31. I had my husband read a chapter of _Sweep of the Heart_ and it intrigued him enough that he started the first book this morning. He has to leave for a doctor’s appointment and he’s having a fit that he has to stop reading in order to get cleaned up, drive out there, do the appointment, and drive home. Another supplicant to the BDH! His frustration is highly amusing.

  38. I showed up today to read the last couple of installments, but the site won’t let me. The Innkeeper screen still says active, but when I try to click on latest post, it won’t let me!

  39. What next? Do you have an itinerary of what book you plan on writing next? Curious to know now that Fridays are open again.

  43. I may have missed something but as you said you will concentrate on other projects for a while but will Dina and her sister find their brother and their parents? How could and entire Inn disappear. If you have covered this I would love to read it. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.

    Dina told Cookie he could have his choice of candidates to eliminate. I think I read all of the chapters available, he didn’t eliminate any of them?

    • She didn’t tell him he would “have his choice” 🙂 . Just that uncovering information on a candidate will lead to an elimination- that of the *specific candidate* he gives Dina dirt on. Which it did ????
