  19. Happy Nwe Year to Ilona & Gordon, my all time favorite authors and to all their family and friends. THANK YOU for your gift of storytelling that you share with us. Your books hav helped to through a lot of grief. Expecially 2017. Plus, 2018 brings the new and last Kate book (*bawls*), Hugh’s book, more inkeeper and hopefully a couple of novellas. It’ll be glorious!

    But seriously, I wish nothing but joy, love, peace, health and sucess to all of you. You deserve it and try to get somre rest in 2018, 2017 sounded like it was very hectic for you.

      • When I woke this morning it occurred to me that this might be misunderstood so I checked the comments to make sure I wasn’t overthinking it.

        I posted this because after wishing I & G happy New Year in Russian, I thought it was a fun way to say I’m black (not Russian).

        I love this piece. I bought it at an antique store in Santa Clarita, California in the late 90s. It sits on a shelf in my apartment and it makes me smile every time I look at it. I only wished to express my joy. Dancing and celebrating the New Year. Nothing sinister here.
