    Anyway I will as usual be waiting for the gratings to lift at the local Chapters to buy the latest hardcover on it’s first day of release.

    • I wish you could come to Toronto too. It’s only across the lake from me. (3 hours by car).

      • +1 although I am considering Grand Rapids since it is about as far away from home as my cottage is (weird triangle formation around Great Lakes). BTW you are not on Shuler Books event calendar yet. Any idea when tickets will be available?

  10. I wish I could be there. It must get tiring having to promote your own books when they are published by a publishing company.

    • Yes Kylie. Let’s hope the Authorlords come to Australia someday soon. Patricia Briggs came to Supernova last year so I keep hoping the Supernova people will bring the Authorlords out as guests!

      On another note, congratulations to both the Ilona Andrews writing team and Grace Draven for making the top 100 on the AAR ( All About Romance) review site. Grace’s “Radiance “ and Ilona Andrews’ “ Magic Binds”, “ Burn for Me”, “ White Hot” and “ Wildfire” are all listed in the top 100.

    • sigh…. one day you will come to Blighty and we of the UK branch of the BDH will rejoice, and there will be singing and dancing and possibly some jumping up and down in joy, but only quietly in case we frighten you away and you chose not to darken our shores again 🙂

      Best leave it a few years mind as while you have Trump we have the DUP : a rather close minded bunch who are not endearing themselves to many on this side of the Irish Sea (or my friends in the Republic either!) grrrrr

        I meant to tell you you can hang your bells wherever you like! With bells on your fingers and bells on your toes the BDH will have music wherever it goes! Enjoy and please ring a few jingles (or boings depending on the size of your bell) for me please 🙂

  21. I lived in Houston for 15 years and loved Murder by the Book. Let’s see, if I take off from Maryland on Wednesday morning by car, can I get to Houston by Friday at 6:30? I have friends and husband’s family there too. What a good excuse to travel.

    • Fly…I’d totally pick you up at the airport. 🙂 What’s the BDH for but transportation to see the Authorlords!

    • Curran won with 68% of the vote. If you go back to that page after the 48 hours, it will tell you who won.

      Curran now faces off against Kate. Poor guy.

  27. AT LAST!!! A date and location I can join in the fun!!! I’m SO psyched!!!! On all my calendars. I never go downtown any more but THIS, this is without question!! If anyone wants to fly in I’ll puck you up from IAH. Or if you drive and need a place to rest your head overnight, I’ve got a double bed and a guest room. Seriously!!

  30. Re: “with bells on” — wristlets or anklets with bells from Ren faires are fun, or you can make cute necklaces with craft store bells – sometimes they carry graduated sizes on one card.

  32. Thank you for the twitter bribe. It was fun and caused much hilarity at breakfast, especially as I remember getting revenge on a friend the same way ( minus enchanted water ) when my children were small.
    I hope everybody enjoys the signings, as an English member of the BDH I will not be there.
    I am really looking forward to the release date though…..

    Hmmm – reading your blog and Ilona Andrews’ I think you might need to swap houses and tour. You have several people wishing you would go to Texas and Ilona has a signing in Houston coming up. On her blog are several people wishing the couple would go to New Zealand. While I think it would be awesome for those fans if they did I would still sigh and regret that neither of you are coming to Toronto, ON Canada area!

    • ooooh…. three of my favorite authors in one place??? Now that would be fun!! perhaps one day….. And while I’m dreaming can we add Jessie Mahilik and Jim Butcher too and then I’ll be in heaven 🙂
