We have some wonderful news from Luisa Preissler. We know many of you have been waiting for the prints and her print shop is now open.
Those links again are:

That Kate in blood armor, though.
Pam says
Wow! Fantastic artwork! I’ll be saving up. Thanks for the news and opportunity!
kommiesmom says
Gorgeous!
I want them all and have no good place for them.
Bummer.
Thank you for letting us see them.
Luisa rocks!
Counting the days ’til Sanctuary…
Jazzlet says
Do you have space for one and space for the others to live in while not hung? I have more art* than I can hang but think this is a Good Thing. When you have the same art all the time you stop seeing it, so I have more than I have hanging space for, and swap them round and out to see each picture anew.
* mostly very cheap, even things like particularly beautiful cards I’ve been sent.
Tiapet says
That’s such a good idea, changing the art on your walls!
Tink says
I love the Dina one. The cat doesn’t look as I was expecting, but I love the fact that it’s the scene where Dina is wearing sleep shorts under her robe and Crocs!
Breann says
+1. I picture more of a Maine Coon type cat (but that could just be me, I don’t remember the authors’ description). I love her artwork though! Sooooo pretty and she does an amazing job! I was wondering if she had to look up Crocs since she isn’t in the US. 🤣
Tink says
I think the cat was specifically described as a Maine Coon cat, or similar to. I seem to remember looking it up at the time as I’m not a cat person and didn’t know what a Maine Coon looked like.
Tink says
Are Crocs only a US thing?
Katie R says
Gorgeous! I love Dina. And Kate’s blood armor is so cool.
AP says
Luisa’s artwork is so beautiful! She’s amazing!
That last one is Julie from Blood Heir, right? The badge was throwing me off but I assume that identifies her as a Knight of the Order?
Moderator R says
It’s the Tower badge. There are only 3 or 4 of those in the Order- Julie has Erra’s.
And Erra got it because the Damian Angevin, the Order leader, is gaga for her!
“I pulled the Tower out of my pocket and placed it on his desk. It was a metal badge about the size of a playing card with an image of the tower engraved on one side. Nick turned it over. The other side was embossed with number four. A signature ran underneath it, silvery and embedded in metal, as if someone had signed the badge with silver wire while the metal still cooled from the forge. Damian Angevin.”
Andrews, Ilona. Blood Heir, Aurelia Ryder 1. NYLA 2021. Kindle edition, page 33
It designates Julie/Aurelia as a Knight-Captain, someone who provided extraordinary services to the order, and is to be given full support by all Order Chapters.
AP says
Thank you for the clarification, Mod R! You rock!
sarafina says
I remember reading about the photo shoot for Hugh and Elara, all the details of hair and fans to make the clothes billow just so! These are beautiful.
Moderator R says
The billows might be easier to create in illustration, but what a fantastic job Luisa did staying true to the spirit of the first cover!
Brittany V. says
She does amazing work. The prints are truly beautiful.
Sabrina says
I really, really love her art for your stories!
A terrestrial being says
Picked the blood armor one, accidentally found this entry early (newsletter is still 1-2 days late), thanks a lot I didn’t even waited for a print as I didn’t even know those are available, will get them 3 weeks to a month or so before my birthday…
Patricia Schlorke says
Those are amazing. The two, to me, are totally wow inspiring are the blood armor and Hugh and Elara.
When I looked at the blood armor one, I can picture it in my head the blood swirling around Kate until she’s completely covered.
Hugh and Elara’s print is so striking with the dark of Hugh with the white of Elara. It drew my eye to the center of the print.
Thanks for the announcement and the links. 🙂
jewelwing says
The Volume 2 bundle is so gorgeous. Everything is, though. Dina in Crocs and shorts, Kate donning blood armor, Julie returning to her hometown…all so right.
House DeMille says
If I had money I would get Dina and Maud – Dina with staff and Maud with sword – what sisters!
Now we just need Klaus 😀
brightfae says
Oh. Want blood armor.
So beautiful!! Thanks!
Emily says
Squeee! I bought the Blood Heir wraparound cover!!! I know right where it’s going!!! Love her art!!!!
Patricia says
They’re all gorgeous, but I think I’m in love with Arland.
Jenn says
Arland 💗💗
Elf ~*~ says
+1
😉
Liz S says
Absolutely gorgeous prints and I splurged and bought several of them. I already have the one with Nevada, Catalina and Arabella and it is awesome.
Whitney says
Wow, so beautiful. I love the blood armor one. There’s something really captivating about the Elara one though too, the wedding dress with the blood on the bottom from that scene, Hugh standing with her, them both looking fierce. Then Julie with the blonde hair and traces of Shinar in her face w/her eagle & the Atlanta sign.
Kathleen says
Are these shipping from out of USA? I ask because the costs look to be Euro, not Dollars. At least that’s where the link took me.
Moderator R says
Luisa is German, she is shipping from Europe 🙂
Kathleen says
Thanks!
JDavis says
This is how I will think of Dina and her lightning-blue broom forevermore! Delicate like a stiletto! What a wonderful, wonderful portrait of a great character.
Miriam says
Wonderful art. I love every picture most 😊
Nancee says
I absolutely love her art. The one of the Baylor sisters has long been a favorite, but as I was going through them, the ones that kept drawing me to them were from The Kinsmen series. Fated Blades is in my top three of all time favorite covers, but it wasn’t the only one that drew my attention. I’m not sure what it is, but I love them. Oh, who am I kidding? I love them all!
Mina says
Oh wow, KATE! Blood armor! 🤩🥹
Celeste says
Wow! I love the Julie print.
Maura Elizabeth Manning says
I have a question that may have already been answered… but how did you and Luisa find one another? Her work fits your characters so perfectly.
Moderator R says
Someone suggested Luisa’s work on an artist call Ilona did on Facebook. Then, a few years later, when the Kinsmen Subterranean Press edition came around, they found each other again on Twitter and the rest is history 🙂
Maura Elizabeth Manning says
Thank you. One of the magazines that published my work added their own art.
It was cool as all hell (https://www.aetheravenuepress.com/post/tango) – but not my choice. As I am a neophyte when it comes to navigating the publishing world, the info is greatly appreciated! Happy 4th!!
Jacob K says
I just realized scrolling through the inprint store that Luisa also did the covers for a bunch of other books I read, I bet that’s part of why I picked them up in the first place!
M says
I know they’re different artists but do you think Luisa and Isabelle would be willing to team up and create an Ilona calendar for 2025? I feel like there’s enough new art from the last 3 years that nothing would repeat from the old calendar.
This is probably impossible but a wishful thought. Ah well.

All the Kate Daniels works? STUNNING!
