Wait, what?

Apparently, Avon’s publicity team pushed a small print run ahead of time and rumor is, that if you are attending Romantic Times Convention in Atlanta and going to Avon Spectacle of Lights event, you may be able to snag a signed copy. I will also bring one with us, so if you find us as we wander about and I still have it, it’s yours.

    • Yup. I, too, have suddenly developed this insane urge to buy plane tickets to Atlanta.

    • This so totally a sucker bet. I think BDH fans will be staking out the front entrance.
      Enjoy it whoever gets it and be kind to those of us among the jealous masses.

  10. I seriously considered driving down to Atlanta. Then reason kicked in. And was promptly kicked out. Thank you Ilona for setting heart and mind at war with 2 short sentences. I could hate you if I didn’t love you guys so much!

      • I used to do personal security. I might be willing to do it again for the small fee of an advance copy of a book.

        /sigh, I wish. Reality is that I have to be at work and I am to responsible to call in sick for a couple of days to sneak to Atlanta. But yes, I really did used to do bodyguard work.

  12. I have just spent the last 10 minutes talking myself out of getting a flight from Spain to Atlanta …. my sane (?) side won…barely…. the other side of me is seriously ticked off! 🙂

    • I’m seriously considering it lots of time. You can get cheap tickets and you only live one. But then reality kicks in.
      I might very well decide to come meet them anyway, the Atlantic ocean be damned!
      ;o)

  20. It’s an approximate 12 hour trip by car from Fort Worth to Atlanta. My friend and her husband live in Decatur. Hmmmm…..if I wasn’t neck deep in work, and I had a ticket to the conference……road trip!

    • I live in Fort Worth and you can never have too many friends. We could get to know each other on the drive. What do you think?

  27. I think it is so cool that you are going to carry that book with you just to hand it off to the first person who asks for it. I live in California, a really pretty part of it, and have never really envied other parts of the country. Lately, however, with all the events you two hit, I’m starting to think about this…

    Is your desk always that clean/tidy? If my desk ever got that clean it might induce a panic attack. Do you do all you notes and drafts on computer, or do you use paper and pen/cil at all for working up ideas and drafts?

    • Ditto for both the California and the envy. I keep hoping that a flying horse will land in my back yard so I wouldn’t be tempted to buy plane tickets.

  28. I can’t wait for release day. If I didn’t move around so much I’d have print and e book copies of all your books. That’s how much I love them. Thank you for writing strong, sensible heroines who don’t make me want to throw my reader against the wall. Your heroines are always bosses, I don’t have enough words to express how freeing it is to read female characters who don’t drop IQ points to drive a book’s plot.

  34. It would be so cool if you guys could fly down to Australia (*cough* Melbourne *cough*), so I could finally meet two of my favourite authors @_@ Praying for a day when you both visit for a convention or I am able to attend one in the states x)

    I am so tempted to get another copy of all my Kate books (donated my set to the library before I moved to pursue my studies), I still have them on my kindle though! That White Hot paperback looks so GOOD! I really want a paper copy D: Damn it technology…. I miss the new book smell & the feel of paper… and yes the stupid paper cuts also.

  39. Sees the blog, actively searches flights from the UK…. Considers this may be a tad ridiculous but still earmarks the cheapest flight. Has coffee and reality sets in.
