Luisa’s new calendar is ready for preorders.

2025 ART CALENDAR FROM LUISA PREISSLER

I’m thrilled to announce that my 2025 calendar „WARRIOR III” is officially available for pre-order! This year’s calendar features 7 new illustrations I painted for Ilona Andrews, alongside a few fan-favorite pieces. Each calendar will be signed.

Measurements: 21,0 x 29,7 cm / 8.3 x 11.7 in. Printed on 300/m² glossy paper.

Pre-order ends on 21 October, 6 PM UTC+1. The production will take a few weeks and the calendars will most likely start shipping by the beginning of November, to make sure they arrive in time for the new year! I’ve also made some signed fine art prints available again.

  2. Luisa does an amazing job capturing the spirit of the characters. It’s my 3rd calendar from her – keeping fingers crossed she’ll explore ‘new creative paths’ and get back into fantasy in time for the next one 🙂

    Dammit.

    I had this year, he gets next. That’s the rules.

    /sigh.

    PS It will be a Blakes 7 calender. He always picks a Blakes 7 calender.

    • Can you buy one for a “you” space?
      work, or craft or whatever favourite room?
      I would so buy one if I could afford the shipping to the end of the world.

    • This is where it’s handy to have a work husband, because you can set up different compromises with the work husband than you do with the home husband.

      Just tell your work husband that you need this calendar in order for you to be a productive member of your husband-and-wife team.

      And if your work husband objects, just remember that old adage… Better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

    • In all fairness, as much as I love it, it’s not really the most functional calendar. So get this for the pretty pictures (and ignore the tiny line of dates at the bottom) and let you husband pick the regular family calendar. I got one for my office and only see the picture. I still love it and am glad I have it, but you might need a regular calendar too, if you’re like me and write appointments on the kitchen calendar. Her work is gorgeous! 😍

  5. Why o why do I live so far away?
    I’m creating a salty lake with my tears, because I want it so hard but the shipping would be impossible!
    Is there a chance to buy printables?
    Or desktop backgrounds?

  6. Oh finally I can get my hands on some merch! I am reminded of the sadness of the store closing and never being able to get anything because I was sadly out of the country each and every time it went live. *sigh*

    Though I do wonder if the vector graphics used to make those products could, at some point down the line, be made available as digital products. I am pretty crafty and if I had access to the graphics I could just make my own.

  8. Yay yay yay!!! This is so exciting as I love all of the art work. They are so stunning. Plus two years ago I gifted my sister a bag of books of each first book in each series of Ilona Andrew’s as a Christmas present. She loved them all and rapidly read every book in each series and got no sleep 😘. The calendar will be perfect for this years present. Thank you Luisa!

  11. Oh- my-giddy-aunt!
    These illustrations are perfect!
    As the lucky recipient of the ADHD ‘gift’ *hehehe* I have the dubious joy of a constant 24hr a day video/soundtrack in my head.
    All. The. Time!
    It means that the moment I start a book, I have a really vivid image in my head of how the characters would look to me- and also, how they would sound when talking (makes Audio books almost impossible for me as the narrator so rarely matches the ‘sound’ in my head!)
    These illustrations are so close to my imaginings, that I can’t wait to order the calendar!
    Luisa has a gift!

  12. Those are great prints. About half of them I already have thanks to the covers of the books Mod R mentioned above. I bought the Ramona/Matias print when Fated Blades came out on Kindle.

    Luisa has a gift to take the people out of the books and put them on canvas and then in prints. A true artist. Wow!

    For Maud’s many titles shouldn’t it be “…sister to Dina Demille Innkeeper of Gertude Hunt”? If not, it’s ok. I just put that in when I read Maud’s many titles, and when mentioning her family. Definitely beloved of Arland, Marshall of Krahr. 😀

  13. sigh. how many times have I revisited my favorite stories over the years. and only just caught the sly nod in Victoria’s after-rant. they’ve gotten the reveal about ceaser out of the way, and during the heart felt explanations, she sighs mournfully about how “he was ambitious”. seriously. how did I never notice

  14. There’s something about Ramona Adler and Matias Baena that just makes me swoon. The artwork is amazing. Now I need ANOTHER re-read….of everything.

    Recently came across a quote from a book. “when the only tool you have is a sword, every problem looks like a neck.” and my first thought was that Kate would really enjoy a conversation with that character. And then I thought “so would all the other warriors in House Andrews multiverse.

  16. I still have my ’22 one up. A+ art, D- functionality as a wall calendar (dates are super small at the bottom of the pic). Will buy this one too for a refresh! 🙂
