I have a routine but necessary doctor’s appointment, which I have to keep, or I will end up waiting months for it, so I will be out. If you are looking for Innkeeper, it was posted on Thursday.

Doctors visits are the bane of my life and now they say that I am over medicalised ( 5 surgeries in 13 months ) so I hope your visit is entirely uneventful. So thanks for an exciting early excerpt and winging good wishes your way.

Been there, done that. The T shirt isn’t worth it. Multiple hernernias and arthritis issues. Not a lot of fun. I make Frankenstein jokes about my abdomen RR tracks. Take care and Heal. 🙂

Hope it is a boring visit(boring equals healthy when it comes to doctors). Thank-you for the early Inn Keeper yesterday.

Was the doctor visit about your hands (how have they been doing), routine or something else? Not asking for your medical history, just been wondering if your hands are improving, and if you’ve stopped “pounding” the keyboards and found a more gentle method or approach. For whatever reason, I hope there is good news and results!
Alas, just recently when I tried to set up an appointment with my doctor who seems to be the only one, so far, to be able to put my rib back in place… it keeps popping out (have a very bad back which is a big part of the rib dislocating), I couldn’t even get her a month later, let alone in two or three weeks, and the last adjustment only lasted a week! I was in tears thinking about the pain… as time goes by, it hurts so much that it’s hard to sleep along with other issues (neck mainly) that make trying to sleep so hard! Have gone through countless pillows with neck support… even good ones that work wear down way too fast.
Thankfully, this time I got a physical therapy referral, but my doctor said any adjustments were to be from a doctor, her or one with a DO degree. Had awful results with other doctors, so far, so I felt like I was going around in circles. Plan on looking for a place that has someone who could do the adjustment and not just cause a lot of pain with no results or relief!
Anyway, to make a long story short (oooops, already gave the long story, maybe just wrap this up is more accurate), I totally understand how life and doctors can throw out plans and even without any explanation, I would wait like a good girl (actually a recently turned 60 year old)… LOL! But you went beyond that with a day early post and explanation… both were appreciated and the story was enjoyed!
I love how you both had Maud turn the tables like that… you two must think you have many rabid and bloodthirsty fans with the many comments eagerly awaiting retribution, etc.! The clever way Maud handled things was very satisfying!
Thank you for another wonderful addition to the story!

Dear Ilona,
I just wanted to say I loved Magic Triumphs. My favourite character was Conal.
I have recently read many of the books you have recommended and discovered new authors that I have started following. As such I have a recommendation for you. I don’t know if you have read Deborah Harkness’s All Souls Trilogy. If you haven’t its a must read and re-read. However, my recommendation is a TV show. Her first book, A Discovery of Witches, has been made into a 8 part tv series by Sky One, a British production. If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it. 2 episodes have aired. If you have read the book there is no suspense, but lots of chemistry, well written and well acted.

I hope your doctor visit went as well as you had envisioned it would.

Good luck at the doctors. May it be a visit that is on time, short and non-eventful. Have a nice week-end
