We’ve announced this before, but just in case someone missed it. When Avon pushed our books back, we thought they would redesign the cover for BFM rerelease.ย They didn’t.ย They just added flaming font.ย Because of this and other factors, like being short on time, the “rerelease” will not contain any new material. Don’t buy it the second time, it’s the same book. ๐
Edit: However, we might have something to commemorate BFM’s “rerelease.”ย ๐

Thanks for telling us !! ๐

Appreciate the heads up. Not sure if I can pass up flaming fonts. **snicker**
Ericka says
oooh, burning font. snazzy. thanks for the warning, again. ๐
Birgitte says
That cover always makes me smile… Considering Nevadas opinion on shirtless guys.
Nineran says
THIS!
Rena says
Thanks for the warning. I loved Burn for Me and I have hoped for more in the series. It is hard waiting for White Hot to come out. Thank goodness we won’t have to wait long for Hidden Legacy. ๐
Rena says
Ok, the last 1/2 of that end sentence poofed. Missing is “#3, Wildfire after White Hot.”
Fan in California says
Thanks for letting us know!!! Looking forward to possible give away. ๐

giveaway? what giveaway?
Chris T says
what? Did I hear free drinks? Thanks for the heads up.
Barbara says
Thanks for the heads up! Looking forward to the “something” though – a snippet, maybe? โบ
Samantha says
Ohhh, butt wiggle joy. Snippets!
Kelly Jacobs says
Yeah,
please snip us daily!
Darlene says
ah ha, seeing the “edit” added – I recall a past post with the line – “Snippet! or it didn’t happen!” LOL – we know you are going bonkers with the final edits of Wildfire – so if a snippet happens – yeah & we are grateful. If not, can you speed time to May 30th? ๐
Dave_5k says
Hmm, “something”. Snippet? ARC contest?
Just missing one devil horned-avatar to set the appropriate mood for “we might have something”…
PadawaNita says
o_O can’t wait!
Ista says
I may have accidentally pre-ordered White Hot on both Kindle and Kobo, but I don’t mind an iota. If I forget to keep the Kobo charged I’ve got instant backup
Frances says
I’m pleased I’m not the only person who sometimes ends up with multiple copies of favourite author’s books! Somehow I have ended up with Silent Blade on both Kindle and iBooks and 2 paperback copies of Burn For Me, ghastly cover and all. If Avon had redone the cover into something halfway decent for the forthcoming rerelease I would have ended up with three!
I sell books at Fairs and swap meets and yesterday a woman bought a copy of Diana Gabaldan’s Crossstitch ( UK title, called Outlander in US) and she said she gives a copy to all her friends who read and several have ended up like her , buying and reading the whole series. The cover is just a picture of some standing stones ( sorry Jamie fans, no picture of a shirt challenged highlander) so no one is going to sneer at the cover when you give them the book.
I hope the something special for the rerelease is a snippet. May 30 is still a couple of months away and the wait has been endless.
Patience says
This is one of my all-time best loved books, even over Kate and Curran and Harry Dresden and Sookie Stackhouse. I love All the characters in this book, even the bad guys.
Smeech says
How about some scenes written from Mad Rogan’s point of view? It will be like the Curran POVs that I love so much.
Frances says
Great idea. Since the story has been from Nevada’s viewpoint we have only seen a few insights into Rogan’s POV. I have always been curious as to why he went straight from 0 to 100 in dealing with Nevada ( eg kidnapping and trying to extract information via magic torture instead of talking to her first and seeing if they could share info and work together to find the shirtless idiot).
Patricia Schlorke says
Oooooo….flaming font. Next thing you know, the publisher says “We’re sorry but we can’t re-release the book since it went up in flames. The font caught on fire.”
Thanks for the warning.
Kristine says
Haha!
sarafina says
So do Nevada and Rogan REALLY have to end after Wildfire? There seems to be so much more room for other adventures!!!!!
Patricia Schlorke says
I agree! If new cities need to be demolished….I volunteer DFW. ๐
Mina says
I live outside Washington DC, the height of political dysfunction. My vote for flames is …. between the White House and Congress ….
Susan Linch Ravan says
If the book is by Ilona Andrews, it’s my favorite book!
Samantha says
Did someone say it was May? Dang! Still March. Really looking forward to May since Jeaniene Frost’s “Into the Fire” went up in flames. Serriously couldn’t put it down. Just like when a new Ilona Andrews book comes out, lost sleep and didn’t regret a second. Hopeless addict here and so grateful for the Book Devouring Horde’s support.
Bill G says
Thanks for the warning … I’ve been burned by such things before.
Kristine says
Thanks for the heads up AND the edited line…looking forward to the something…..

Ooh, something to commemorate? You guys are the bestest!
Sarah says
But…. but …. FLAMING FONT!
It’s a good reminder so I have time to re-read (for the 42nd time) before the release of White Hot.
Beth says
I someone managed to end up with three copies the first time around (two paperbacks and the ebook) so I appreciate the heads-up on this one not being any different! ๐
CLynn says
Is the rerelease out yet? I’ve been looking for it but on Amazon it only lists the original book. Is there new stuff in the rerelease?
