If I needed to spend a weekend in a haunted house, I would bring Elara d’Ambray. I would fully trust the White Lady and her powers would be able to defend us from any ill-intended actions from the ghosts. We might also find a way to help the souls move on to the next world while we discuss the properties of various herbs.

I’d bring Adaline. She’s used to exploring creepy places, has a kick ass sword and can access the knowledge of the universe. Bonus points if Bear can tag along!

Haven’t read any of your stuff yet (multiple books are on my TBR though!) but I would honestly want someone funny to stay with me in a haunted house, I feel like laughing at and making fun of ghosts would be a huge deterrent to being actively haunted
It has to be Kate, right? She knows how to be survive, can fill time with lore about the monsters, and she won’t let anything hurt us. Although we both share a fear (heights), I’m hoping that won’t be present in a haunted house.

Hmm. I should be all girl power and select Kate or Julie or Maud, but I think I’d rather pick a good-looking guy to defend me. Even if he’s in a committed relationship, I can still enjoy the scenery and drool.
So I think I’ll pick Rogan, because I picture him as being better looking than Curran or Sean and more muscle-y than Roman. Everard would be second choice, if only because his magic seems more limited than Rogan’s.

Hmmmm this is a tough one! I’d definitely go with Adaline though. The breech made her a total badass and her strategy skills are great too. Plus she’s also a mom like me, so she knows we both need to make it home for our kids. I really love her characters being older and a mother, I feel like it resonates with me more.

It would have to be George Camarine. Since he is a necromancer, he could talk to any ghosts in the haunted house and lay them to rest or at least make them go away.
Any other character would probably try to kill them but ghosts are already dead.

I mean she can handle corrupted Ad-hal when the strong characters are getting tossed about she would be great protection. Plus she is all about keeping guest comfortable and I guarantee I would NOT be comfortable in a haunted house. :-p
