We’re looking for the beta readers for Wildfire. Must have been a previous beta for White Hot. 🙂 This is the pre-copyedit beta read, so most of the narrative is set, but scene specific edits are still possible. If you have been on beta for White Hot and are ready to help us scrub Wildfire clean, please email to the fastmail address. The number of beta spots is very limited and we will need an NDA again.

Dang it – wish I’d been lucky enough to be a beta for White Hot. 🙁
Woot! Too bad I don’t qualify but I send my envy to those of you who do!
I’m not a previous beta reader so not putting my name in the hat but, whoop whoop, sounds like you’re making great progress!
Karina Bass says
I’d love to! But I’ve not been a beta reader for you. What kind of feedback are you looking for and what format do you need it in?
Karina Bass says
Edit: please ignore me since I misread and thought you wrote, “Must NOT have been…” Wishful thinking on my part obviously!
*sob* for a split second my brain parsed the lack of “(Part One)” in the post title to think that part two had been posted…such a tease! 😀
I beta read Burn For Me does that count?
Bwa ha ha ha
So I like puns. Sue me.
Patricia Schlorke says
I didn’t catch the pun until I read your post, Gail. That’s a good one. 🙂
Patricia Schlorke says
I’m sighing since I can’t be a beta reader for Wildfire. 🙁 To those who are beta readers, have lots of fun.
I don’t qualify but please keep me in mind for the future. I am quick and used to providing constructive feed back.
How does one become a beta reader?
Send a resume?
Pledge one’s firstborn?
Offer housekeeping services?
Just name it!
Monina Cabanada says
I don’t even know what a beta reader is… but it sounds like a great thing to be. 🙂
Good luck to those who are a part of this select group. 😉
Doris Martindale says
I am sorry that I am not eligible for this, but just putting out there that I had back surgery and am home with NOTHING to do but read………..so if you find yourselves short. MEEEEEEEEE!
If that’s all it takes, then I can throw my back out for the cause. 😛
Nuts, hit send too soon.
Hope you recover quickly, Doris. Doing nothing isn’t a problem for me 😛 but staying in the same position in bed or on a couch all day would drive me a bit batty.
Jeni whaley says
I’d love to do it! Previous beta reader.
I wish I had been a beta reader! I love these books. If you change your mind and allow those who haven’t been a beta reader before, I hope you will consider me!
Hey, Ilona, you got a Shoutout from Patricia Briggs – http://happyeverafter.usatoday.com/2017/03/09/veronica-scott-patricia-briggs-interview-silence-fallen/

I became and will remain a superfan on my retirement. I would love to be on your beta team and I assure you i have an unique perspective because my background is very different to the norm.
Britni Patterson says
I wish I could be a beta. I write mysteries so I’m familiar with edits and stuff. If there aren’t enough qualified white hot betas, can I volunteer? 🙂
Whenever you post asking for Betas, it feels like the official countdown for the ‘Days until Christmas” has started! Yay!!
Hi!!! I’m dying to read both books. I’ve been counting the days for months now and still so far away. I’m from Brazil and I think I’ll never be able to see you guys in person and get an autograph (even because I don’t have a paper copy), so I’ll just say here that I’ve read all of your books (more than once) and your are one of my favorite authors. Your stories are magic, from the universe you create to your characters. I just want to say thank you both for your books, you have no idea how your books made people feel.
Unfortunately I can not be a wildfire beta reader, since I wasn’t I beta for Wild Fire (.. and I don’t think I even can, being from Brazil) but I really wish I could’ve been.
Sorry for any misspells or whatever.
