The Store
Before you buy, please read this section.
MERCH: Please do not buy items to support us. We make our money from books. Please only buy things because you truly want them.
QUALITY: These are not heirloom items. The quality is somewhere around concert T-shirts and the bulk stuff you order for your company charity event. We do our best to select the highest rated vendors; however, we had to compromise slightly to make mugs available to Australia and Ladies T’s to UK.
DURATION: The store will be open from 07/30-08/02. We will open one day late next week to allow people to place additional orders. Once the store closes, the link to contact form will be in the top banner and on the contact page. If something unforeseen occurs, we may shut the store down to fix it.
FULLFILLMENT: We will start filling orders this Friday. This is to allow for people who have messed up their order to email us and for us to process those requests. Because this is Print on Demand, once it goes to production, there is no way to cancel it. Please be sure to order what you want. You will receive emails with tracking numbers when the orders are shipped.
If your item is out of stock at the time you place your order, please check the site again next week during the make up day. We do not control the vendors’ inventory, and some stuff is usually out of stock.
If your item is out of stock after you place your order, your order will be delayed until the vendor restocks. Email us with any questions.
SHIPPING: This store functions like Etsy. Although it’s a single storefront, every type of item is produced by a different vendor on demand. Each vendor charges shipping per item. If you order a T-shirt with shipping of $5 and you order the second T-shirt, they will charge you another $5.
We are not doing free shipping for this exact reason. Free shipping means we factor the cost of shipping into the cost of the item, and we have to estimate that cost to be higher, so we do not lose money.
Average shipping is $5-8 per item in US and higher for international orders. If your shipping is more than $10 per item, make sure you are ordering from the right country. You can always double check with us by sending us an email through the store contact form.
If it’s been 2 weeks, and you have heard nothing, please let us know through the contact form at the store.
REFUNDS: All items are printed to order. Be sure to order the right size and color. We can only replace or refund items that are defective or arrived broken.
10-15% of mugs arrive broken. That is not a problem; we will reprint the mug for you at no cost to us. Please do not hesitate to let us know that your mug has not survived.
To request a refund, take a picture of the damaged item and email us at the link in the footer. It would help if you included your order number.

You weren’t kidding about the shipping! By being absolutely ruthless, I managed to get the shipping down to $130.00 Canadian. And that’s before the answer about one of the tees. I’ll probably order again once I get an answer. There were too many items that I need to give a good home to! I also get immense enjoyment using all I bought last time. Thank you Mod R. To reassure you I did order some things from the US on purpose, even after the warnings. For example, I prefer the US tote bags because they have a wider base. I use last years tote bags every day so I am willing to pay extra shipping for that.
Morena in a helpful mood is dangerous. I’d never want to see her in a vengeful mood.

I am so very sad that my husband thinks the Unwelcome Mat is unbearably rude. Seriously. He’s worried about offending the postmen and pizza dude and the grocery delivery people. Our FRIENDS would find it hilarious.
I’m thinking of getting it and putting it in front of my kitchen sink — I would enjoy it everytime I do dishes! If I put it outside, it will blow away within a couple of months.
His coworkers convinced him it would not be rude. I am so very grateful for them! It will go wonderfully in our apartment hallway (we’re on friendly terms with our neighbors as well).

Libro.fm released my pre-ordered audiobook at midnight EST, which was great for me in Pacific time. I managed to listen to the first 3 chapters before bedtime!

Is anyone else confused by the bonus short story? I feel like I should be connecting it to something else Ilona has written, but I’m not finding it…

You may wish to reread Chapter 8 again 😊. It details how Morena was upset and wanted revenge on Svarog’s Volhv for the things he said about her.
The short story shows Finn, as Morena’s new priests, delivering the goddess’ justice to the man who offended her- in the form of her wail.
That bonus short story was something. Finn is settling in with being Morena’s priest just fine. It also helps having his sister and Roman helping him along the way.
Loved the book.
Roman from the beginning had a soft spot in my heart. love to see more from him. love the “subtle” hints of things to come. I always hoped he would get more spotlight. so I know you guys have your hands full with all things already on going and the new contract so I don’t expect anything but the story opens up possibilities and that already is exciting. thanks I really enjoyed reading this.

Sanctuary was awesome! I had to cook the beach family dinner for 12 yesterday, due to the usual cook being out of town for work. So I didn’t get around to reading until late, and finished today. Thank you for the treat!

Loved the book but I have a question. Was there an explanation for why the strange priests wanted to sacrifice Finn specifically? Did I miss it?
Am I conflating the following with a different free fiction, I thought there was a insinuation there’d be a bonus romantic interlude added to the book release over the free fiction version on the blog.
