As stated, these are prototypes, and the portraits of Sol and Ramond turned out to be a little too dark when printed, so they will be lightened for the final printing. Please note that I said 3 times in the video that these are semi-transparent. That’s because experience tells me that someone will order these and be terribly upset because they are not art prints.

The artwork is beautiful and helps me to see the people (not characters) better. I’ve listened to the book twice and am in awe of House Andrews talent. Truly. And your reader is gifted in her presentation of your work.

I’m a cat mommy to two former feral kittens. I know that transition to “wow the indoors is great!” and the slow move from suspicion to asking for pets and affection. From not being able to touch at all for first 3 months to 5 years later having my lap treated as the truck-stop on a super highway (good place to plop down for a rest during spirited game of chase).
I guess I’m not surprised that you (plural) have opened your home. From reading blog for years, I see that whole family are pet people. Has your pretty tortie friend started vocalizing? One of mine has learned to meow (to better motivate her human) while the other still does feral squeaks and chirps only. If I had not named them following our family tradition (i.e. from the liquor cabinet), I should have called them “Louise” and “Dainty June” — yes, fits their personalities.

The vellum overlays remind me of older illustrated books that had an additional transparent page right before the actual illustration. If I can manage I will definitely buy the art prints as well before she stops selling them. I want them all, but can’t afford them at the moment…

These look maaahhvelous! OK, that’s dating myself, but they are very pretty. I am mostly an audio book fan, but I pre-ordered This Kingdom hardcover book , like, 6 months ago, to have for my “hands on” library. These vellum prints, won or purchased, are going to be the best bookmarks ever.

Ok, so I just went on Luisa’s shop (pre-order live now) and her cards are stunning… Absolutely gorgeous and I was whooping until I saw the shipping costs to the US, not to mention import duties which are NOT included in the shipping costs.
That took the wind out of my sails so fast I ended up with whiplash!!!

But I am so sorry I won’t own the card pair, unless I find a friend in Europe (or maybe Canada… hmmm.. 🤔🤔🤔 worth exploring).

Thank you. And I want to add my voice to all the others who have praised this book. I am 2 chapters away from finishing it and I find myself hesitating from doing so because I don’t want it to end. I know more is coming but it will be a while. This is a masterpiece.
But only once u finish the last couple chapters can u start the second read. I treated my book-hangover with the classic remedy, hair of the dog, pretty much starting my second read immediately. Plus there’s several additional bits posted on this blog which are great.
