We have roughly 800 people registered for both BLOOD HEIR Zoom events. Because we “sold out” so fast and a lot of people felt left out, Gordon and I decided to add 200 slots to the Tuesday event.

The registration has just been opened. If you want in, now is your chance to register. We can’t exceed 500 participants per event, so this is the only expansion we can do.

Quick answers

Audio.

While BLOOD HEIR has already been recorded, the files have to be approved and processed by Audible before they can appear on their site. Due to the large volume of audio books, Audible has been taking longer than usual to process the files. We expect the audio to be available within 3-4 weeks of the release.

Availability of print/ebook in Europe, Canada, and Australia

Available in all three regions. Australia | France | Canada

Will the zoom webinars be available for viewing?

Yes, if we can figure out how to upload them. We are definitely recording them.

  18. I’m glad I am waiting for the recorded version. (I loose track of time and miss things that are live. This way, it starts when I start it, so I can see all of it.) I really look forward to seeing Ilona and Gordon “in performance” – almost as much as I anticipate “Blood Heir”.

    If you got a time, enjoy! House Andrews is (are?) very entertaining in person. I have been lucky enough to see them at book tour events and truly wish that were happening for fans this year.
    I understand book tours are rough on the authors, however, so perhaps this way is better. I am sure many who would not be able to get to a few personal appearances will be getting the “personal attention” experience this time.

  22. I did some work on a big Zoom webinar on a while back. Have you considered streaming the Q&A directly to YouTube Live, which will let you add a lot more people? That way, you can just share the YouTube link, or if you want to limit it, you can have people register through another function and only give those people the YouTube link. You can turn also off the chat function in YouTube so you don’t have to check both Zoom and YouTube for questions.

  24. Congratulations on the response to your events. I hope you enjoy interacting with the fans in this medium, since the face to face option is not possible. At least you are able to do it with a dog in your lap (I was able to watch some of the videos of your book launch in 2020 and saw the snuggle demands of one of your pets). Since I was able to watch 3 of last year’s events I decided to let others participate in the 2021 events, but I did enter in the giveaway contest. Have fun talking to people who love your work, looking forward to reading the book when it comes out this week.

If there are any extra places left after the Tuesday event, or any registrants can’t make it, your avid readers from Cambridge UK would happily register for Saturday’s event on our time zone… please just let us know. Like you, we’re having a bit of a rough time at the moment, with the new COVID-19 variant running rampant, and a new national lockdown declared as new cases reach higher levels than ever before. We wish you all the best in these troubled times.

  31. Thank you! I received one of the 200 additional spots in the release gathering and it feels like winning the morale lotto today. Today had been overwhelming in self esteem knocks and I withdrew from battle to catch my breath by checking your blog in case of anything new. I saw the opportunity and got one of the last ones (I know this as I immediately called my daughter to try and they were full lol). Why share this? I know that it is more complex to add more people and adds more stress for you but that you realized how much your readers appreciated your efforts and craved a social outlet to share their joy. You create a safe haven for sharing regularly in so many ways, including your sharing of your personal joys and challenges. Thank you not only for the opportunity but for the reminder that paying it forward is always a important principle but reaches critical importance when there are so many challenges, both large and small. Yesterday my daughter gathered a young dog running in a major road and managed to reunite this delightful fur baby with her frantic family a few hours later. I was telling her how important her actions were and she said that it didn’t take that much for her to do it. My response was that it may not have been arduous but the value to that young family of the safety of their puppy and return has no price. Anyone that has done the frantic run with a leash shouting their fur baby’s name can feel that gut punch always….. There are so many ways to help others, some more seemingly more dramatic than others, but all support and caring is exponential in helping people get through these tough times. My ramble is done, thank you !

  33. Hello, I am very excited about Ryder and would like to preorder, but use a Kobo (Canadian) rather than a Kindle and have never ordered an ebook from Amazon. Is it possible to choose the formatting when purchasing? I tried to google, but my Luddite brain was stymied by phrases like “rip the drm”, etc. Appreciate any guidance in advance. Can’t wait for the book – it will be a highlight of the month!!

I signed up for Libro.fm because it was endorsed by Ilona on this website but was disappointed when the audiobook of Sweep of the Blade couldn’t be purchased from there.
