This is so amazing 😍!

BLOOD HEIR was an instant best-seller on its release, and it continues to gather accolades and appreciation. For a self-published book, with no publisher backed advertising or marketing, it is a testament to both House Andrews incredible talent and the power of the BDH!

I shall never cease to muppet flollop!

I love this book so much. For being the usual guaranteed Ilona Andrews fabulous read (and what a lucky BDH we are) and especially for what it meant to me and so many others last year.

I am so happy to see it succeed and House Andrews are very grateful to everyone who made it happen.

  33. Well deserved! My husband watched in awe as I called the US several times and had the book shipped to Denmark with all the extra taxes and shipping that entails. (After I’d already read the ebook) He was curious what book could be worth all of that and read it. He’s hooked and moving through the whole back catalogue. I love finally getting to talk HA books with him.

  42. My daughter works at a doggy daycare…she is always listening to podcasts, novels, music, etc… Finally after I was done laughing at a snippet, she read it! She has started with the KD novels on audible. I’ve been receiving hot texts ever since, e.g. “Mom, Derek doesn’t die does he?He can’t–he’s too sweet–MOM, answer me!…Is Dr. Toothpaste(Crest) the evil dude in this book?…Mooooooommmmm!!!” She’s read books from my library before but she has totally flipped over House Andrews. So, now I have someone to discuss my favorite stories with in my own house. #funfamilyconnectiontime!!!

    • The BDH is the Book Devouring Horde, aka the Ilona Andrews fans! Welcome ????
      We were named after the Hope Crushing Horde in the Innkeeper series and our book devouring proclivities ????

        • Team Metal Rose is an identifier for the fans who believe in the Julie/Derek couple and think they should end up together.
          The name is based on the Magic Burns scene in which Derek makes a metal rose out of nails and a cup and gives it to Julie ????. We see Aurelia kept it all these years in Blood Heir.

  84. Congratulations! So well deserved. Of course the BDH knew this already.

    As an aside, the other book in the pic, _The Galaxy and the Ground Within_, by Becky Chambers, is also amazing. Heartstoppingly beautiful and thoughtful. I have been recommending the series to my friends as “character-driven sci-fi” and everyone who has read it has been enthusiastic about it. This is the 4th book, you could probably start there, but the first 3 are amazing as well.

  112. I am rereading Blood Heir now. It’s so well crafted and I love the story. I want a sequel. All of the series are well worn favorites keeping me sane as I navigate working from my parents’ house after my dad’s stroke. Waiting for rehab placement. And dealing with mom’s memory issues. I will always buy anything you write.

  118. Totally well deserved! I just finished re-reading all the KD books & side series, and Hugh’s, and finally Julie’s. This was the 3rd time through for Blood Heir – and I’m still catching little bits & pieces I missed the first two times! So many layers! And, there were several places that I realized both Julie & I missed that strongly hinted that Derek knew who she was! Too bad the Rose was hidden when he broke in; he might not have been so mad at the end if he knew she’d kept it all these years. … Nah, he would have come up with some dumb reason she kept it, not the real reason. 😉

      The Harry Potter movies turned out good but Eragon was a disappointment and I love the Inheritance Cycle

  160. I fell in love with your writing the moment I started magic bites years ago, while I’ve enjoyed all your other stores the Kate Daniels universe has remained my favorite and I think it’s likely to always stay that way

    I love the way you combine active with sarcasm and humor, and the very unique and flamboyant characters you come up with makes them each stand out on their own. To be honest I have a hard time deciding who’s my favorite character because I absolutely love all of Kate gang(kate and her friends/family) I’ve even grown to love Hugh d’Ambray and Erra when I didn’t think I ever could

    because I finished Innkeeper reread (again).After I read all the Edge and the Legacy novels.
    Truly, Ilona and Gordon have helped me keep my sanity this past year.
