    I’d love to see the tree with lights off. The last photo suggests lots of decorations as well as the lights.

  38. I’m loading the operating system on the “new” computers for the boys, then I have to make the pork pie (Christmas Eve Tradition) and then set up the sewing machine to get some pajama pants made (also a tradition).
    It’ll all be fine, if Windows ever stops misbehaving. (HA!)( If not, no pajama pants until next week sometime.)

I’m reading the part when Curran and Mahone fought each other, and Martha came in scolding both of them like they were two misbehaving kids.

    I hope next year will be a lot better than this one. If stuff happens, the BDH has your back. 🙂

    BTW, I had my version of the galactic burger, fries, and Coke for lunch. It was a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with Cheese and fries. My drink was unsweetened tea. Hmmm….I wonder where I got that idea from?????? 😀

    Made homemade rolls this morning. In a little while, I’m going to warm up a spiral ham and make my own glaze with brown sugar and orange blossom honey.

    We are also enjoying our (admittedly diddly 120cm) fake tree, and as it’s Christmas day here- I have the cooking going in full swing. Baked cobb loaf stuffed with ooey gooey brie and cranberry sauce and mini meat pies to nibble on for starters. Bourbon honey glazed ham, a bunch of salads (thanks to the toasty weather) for the main, followed up with good ol’ Aussie Pavlova and Pumpkin pie for the kiddo missing the USA. And bubbles- can’t forget the champers!
    After that it’s going to have to be a coma on the sofa with the dogs as I’ll be incapable of moving 😀

  147. We decided last minute to do a Christmas tree. Went to the back garden and rummaged around and found last year’s wet (& dried out) tree. We rubbed off the old needles & discovered the bark was soaked & peeling off to leave a beautiful smooth wood. Trimmed off the twiggy bits & a few branches to thin out & brought it in & decorated it! Done & looks lovely! 😀

  165. Love the Innkeeper books even more than Kate Daniels. So from one pie maker to another, what did you make? I did pumpkin, pecan (with praline liquor) and “crack” pie. The crack pie was pretty good and very different.
