Both it and Blood and Magic need to fly through the screen and into my hands (well, into my phone) and then I’m going to crawl under my desk and read them until I fall asleep.

I think it’s a great cover. One of her best.

I totally agree. To be honest, I was pretty freaked out about what this was going to look like–Ian is such a character that it’s hard to pin him down to a single face. “Complicated” doesn’t even come close to describing him. This cover is PERFECT–sexy and edgy with hints of great depths just lurking beneath the surface, but only if you take the time to look. It’s also gutsy, because they actually gave him a face and not just a jawline that left the rest to the readers’ imagination. That fits with Ian’s character too, I think. He’s many things, but I bet nobody ever called him a coward in his life. Reckless, without a doubt, but never a coward.
It will be so much fun to see him and Veritas together. Can we say, “gasoline meets open flame”?

OMG an Ian book? One of my favourite side characters in Jeaniene’s books. I haven’t been keeping up with Ms Frost’s work, so I wasn’t aware this was even on the cards. Yay! Thanks for the heads up 🙂

Can we start a GoFundMe campaign to by shirts for romance novel models? Just wondering…

While I agree that bare-chested men are overdone on romance covers, in this case I think it’s totally “in character”. More often than not, Ian is bare-chested or worse whenever he makes an appearance.

I like Ian, he always, not quite said what he had to say. Now, l hope he gets his voice. The snark that marks!

Ain’t it quite cheesy to always show half-naked guy as main theme of book cover? Is there not a single original thing in that book, which could serve as theme for the cover? For me, for these reason, the thumb down.

In this case, if you knew the character, you’d be glad the shirt is the only thing missing. =P
