It should go up for preorders by mid-month.  🙂 You can’t find it, because it’s not up yet.

We are finishing it up, and I have now completely creeped myself out with the tunnel scene, so hey at least it’s creepy.

Creepy.

    • Castle has to have a tunnel according to all of the historical romances. Scary tunnel.

      • For some reason I read this as “cattle has to have a tunnel.” In rural NE there are cattle access tunnels under the train trestles. Full of spiders, poop, bats, poop, snakes and…well, you get the idea. 😛 Genuinely creepy to small children.

    • Oh my that is a great list! The hard part is that I like eight of the sixteen names listed!

        • I suspect PamFan that Bran does not meet the established by person in authority position at that website definition of alpha.
          Personally I think he does but he is very much a behind the scenes petson. Charles and Adam are the public faces. Bran and Samuel and one of my favorites, the rose cultivating Spaniard, are behind the scenes.

    • Of course we are. I am convinced that in a few years MBA students will be writing thesis’ on how IA revolutionized the industry and changed the trajectory of genre fiction through outstanding social media use (blogging, Inkeeper).

            (Also, FWIW, I was thinking of some of the tunnels under Yale, circa early 80s… the memories are pretty pleasant, really. Though I have a lot of other tunnel related memories.)

  13. Thanks. I hate missing when something of yours goes up for pre-order, because I always go “How the heck did I miss THAT?” and feel stupid when I do find the listing. And I truly hate feeling stupid. (I often am stupid, I just don’t like it.)

    I will look forward to the “creepy” scene. You do atmospheric so well.

  15. Celebrating my birthday by buying a gift for a friend. She’s getting her first proper sword. Needless to say, I won’t be doing the pre-order but I will be buying it when it comes out at my bookstore.

  18. Love your books, but I’m going to skip, skip, skip that scene 🙂 it’s probably very well written and that’s why I’m going to skip the creepiness. Then I can love the continue the rest of the book 🙂 Thanks for the heads up! If you get too scared you could say a prayer 🙂 it helps me at least

    I am not ashamed to admit I skip horror anything because I get nightmares and need to leave the lights on all night for a minimum of 2 weeks. That said, as long as the tunnel scene doesn’t have roaches, anything with carapaces, or worms, it probably won’t give me the heebie derbies. ?

  20. Is it just ebook format? My 15 year old is reading KD and he says he has hopes for Hugh. Just seeing if we will have to buy two ebook copies or not. He has Kindle I have Nook.

    • For those of the Horde that has a Nook or Nook app: Diamond Fire is being offered for $ 1.99 on Barnes and Noble. I don’t know how long this will last, so if you haven’t pre-ordered, grab it.

  27. My apologies if this is a repeat, but, will there be an audible edition, and if so, will it be on the same schedule? (Also, what about the Hidden Legacy Novella?)
