Sneaking in a quick update before the blog disappears again!
WP Engine, our hosting provider, has been experiencing a major outage since yesterday, which is why the blog keeps timing out.
There’s unfortunately not much we can do at our end until service is restored. Hopefully, we’ll be back up and running tomorrow!
Good news, though: House Andrews are alive and almost done with the rewrites of Maggie 2 and we should be hearing more about all of that goodness soon.

I was running into the timeout earlier today, but everything has been working for the last several hours, hopefully WP Engine has resolved the issue.

It is happening with all my regularly accessed sites since Friday. I blame AI for gobbling up all the bandwidth to force feed me things I don’t want. ( because it is easy right to blame AI for everything right now, and it is possibly even true.)

A spa weekend with wonderful food, tea and other libations along with all the marvelous massages and relaxing treatments are in order for HA when the edits of Magie 2 are done! (how’s that for a run on sentence…my quick message needs editing!) BDH can wa*t for news and details until HA de-stress and rest, recharge their batteries

Speaking of interruptions, I’m still waiting for the Innkeeper book promised (?) in the last paragraph of “Sweep of the Blade”. Presume that book might be about finding Dina’s parents and their Inn. A nice closing to this saga.

Good news: the audiobook itself is complete, it has been recorded, edited, finalised, etc.
Not as exciting news: There is currently quite a lot of work happening behind the scenes to negotiate new distribution options for the self-published audio releases.
As soon as those larger administrative issues are resolved, we should have a release date to announce for Beast Business. 🙂
