  24. I’m not sure if you want it mentioned, but this blog post doesn’t have the “Continue Reading” button on it, from the blog main page. It may just be my phone (I’m using an Android phone on Internet Explorer). It looked like a very short post. I was able to click the title or scroll up from the comments, so it isn’t a big deal, but I thought you’d like to know. Maybe? ????????‍♀️

    I hope this was ok to post as a comment since it’s a technical thing and not a correction on a story post. I really hope I didn’t make you mad or sad. I debated about saying anything or not. It may be just my phone too.

    • Lol. I got traumatized by their last “comment policy” post too (well, maybe you’re not exactly traumatized but I definitely was as they used my comment to make an example — name and all!) But I think I understand why they did what they did. Also, I messed up big time (I guess I was over-excited)

      In answer to your question, I don’t think you’re wrong. The policy is about the content/posts themselves.

      And I don’t think your comment is being critical so it should be safe — not that they even discourage that, from what I understand

  27. Quincy is adorable and is channeling his/her (I forgot if Quincy is a he or a she) inner Jedi and mind control. Those eyes could be conveying “I did not eat your socks” or “I did not tear up the toilet paper in the bathroom” or “I did not go on the kitchen floor”. 🙂

    As to Ryder…take your time with it. When it gets to us, it gets to us. Please don’t stress over it.

    • At a guess? Ascanio was very good at getting his own way as a youngster so it is probably Very difficult to fool him. He knows all the tricks!

    • Ascanio managed to survive to grow up only because Aunt B stuck out her neck for him repeatedly and Kate took him under her wing to try to keep him out of trouble. Looking back he probably sees that and knows how close he came to not only messing up his own life but those of the people around him.
      There is no stricter leader then a reformed wild child. Especially before they learn how to balance the firm hand with a long lead.

  45. Quincy is cute. Our doggie likes to be wrapped up too. All blankets in the house are hers. And the big kids learned that if they leave their towels on the floor, she will promptly occupy it, leaving it covered in fur.

  65. About the free socks….you could keep the socks for kid 1, who likes them, and then donate socks to your local Good Samaritan (our local donation center here in Blanco, Tx,) Women’s & Children’s shelter, etc. AND ……if your conscience still wreaks havoc…..double or triple your donation.
    Just a thought.

I was just reading Kate 2…wow, I had forgotten how Julie’s relationship with everyone kicked off, very dramatic but showed how valued she was early on. Loved the rose scene with Derek…how different they are now. I truly hope the metallic green is Derek!!! I would love to see their reunion!

  158. Thank you. It made my heart happy to see Quincy. We found out our beloved Hiro had Leukemia on Friday and had to let him go Saturday night to end his pain. We are heartbroken. He was my office buddy. Giant dog who left a giant hole in our hearts.
