I leave kibbles out for the stray cats in the neighborhood and its seems all the possums, skunks, foxes, and raccoons. I must say that possums do range from the fugly to cute. None have every hissed at me.

I love you both and I’ve tried not to take sides but can’t stop myself … 1. Sometimes you need something to keep you busy when you are grieving to help you process (at least I do). Ian’s tassels are apt retaliation 🙂 2. Opossums be not so cute – especially when you have the windows wide open to catch the breeze and at 2 AM the dogs bark and you go over to the window and find yourself eye-to-eye with a big ol’ opossum that is staring back at you from a branch just inches from your face. I jumped and screamed and still he just sat there staring at me and looking creepy. I thought it was a peeping Tom!
