We’re coming up on six months since the THIS KINGDOM WILL NOT KILL ME release (woohoo!), so today we’re borrowing a little inspiration from Cute Knight to discover where the Horde’s (sometimes questionable) choices would lead you.

There are four questions. Pick the image that appeals to you most, keep track of your A, B and C answers, then see what the future has in store on the results page.

    • My choices were mostly Bs & Cs, when I selected things based solely on the appearances.
      So I’d be a Keeper of Secrets in a world that’s captured my heart. 💕
      But, if I selected things based on what I know from having devoured TKWNKM numerous times, I’d be straight Cs, which is totally fitting.
      TKWNKM, has completely captured my heart.
      So maybe the next title should be:

      This Kingdom Will Not Let Me Go
      …And I’m Totally Okay With That 🥰

      • TKWNLMGAITOWT is a tad unweildy,, but completely accurate!

        And I was Cs an one B, because you can’t gift someone a stelka or you shouldn’t, they are there own creatures.

        • I’m completely down with that title!! A very dear friend has started reading Maggie and I’m having a hard time leaving her alone. 🙂

  7. I chose c,c,b,b. I checked my fate and did not find one as I had no majority
    Uh OH. I could have re-picked. but I felt since I already saw the answers, it just didn’t seem right.
    I still enjoyed the game

  11. Mostly Cs, but the one B as I’m not convinced that you could successfully gift a stelka, they are independant creatures! Plus maps. Maps are always good.

    • I totally agree about not being able to gift a stelka, so I picked the map, and then chose A on #4…I guess I’m mainly C since those were my first two?
      Lots of fun and I can’t believe it’s been six months already!

    • lol, my sentiments exactly. I could probably make friends with a stelka on my own, and that map was just too beautiful to pass up.

  16. C rules! I like comfort. Today’s project is a baby layette. Do people still use baby bonnets? I like making them. I’ll probably include one. I watched the movie Nanny McFee and reproduced the baby’s fancy bonnet.

    • Baby bonnets and hats are still used: besides the fashion statement of your fancy bonnet (and cuteness factor), babes loose lots of heat through their proportionately large heads. The younger the baby, more likely to need the bonnet. If it gets cool or cold where you live, even more so, and also keep little ears warm.
      Now if you could get a Stelka to keep the baby warm (and not bite), you’d be all set!

    • In her later years, Ma would knit little layettes and donate to the hospital. They were always willing to accept them. You can look into it and know that baby babies are being made warm and comfy.

  17. Ok, so I’m one of those people who can’t decide — I mean, under certain circumstances B, but under others C . . .so I do things like this twice.

    So I’m a keeper of secrets and this kingdom claims my heart, but it claimed my heart first and I’m a secondary keeper of secrets.

    That tracks.

    ModR makes the BEST stuff for us!

    However, I did notice that there isn’t a Steve track . . . that would either be This Kingdom WILL kill you or You Are a Chaos Ferret in the Kingdom. Or, we’re just not letting Steve anywhere near the kingdom. 🙂

    The magic option was a tough choice. Note sure what the crystal ball gives, fire magic burns a lot of calories, and potions require ingredients.

    • Crystal ball 🔮 I think Maggie’s gift, knowing the future. Didn’t think of the burning calories bonus of fire, so just changed my answer as I’ll be eating lots of Shana’s pastries.

    I suppose that’s a majority of B 😉
    Plus it was a very difficult choice betweeen 1A and 1B, so majority B it is.

  37. cabb, would try to become a clockmaker,as this is a skill that is useful,in a post medieval environment. it could be achieved using a combination of magic and technology. Douglas means black river

    Six months, it feels like both yesterday and forever.
    Wish I could read it for the first time again.
    Heck, there’s so many book’s I’d love to be able to read for the first time once more.
    Well, I guess it’s rereads instead, and the plus side is you get to notice the tiny details you might have missed in the excited first rush and all of the foreshadowing, everyone loves a bit of foreshadowing.
    Actually re-reading is da bomb 😁

  50. That was a toughie but in the end I chose an equal mixture of B and C which totally makes sense for real life me after reading the descriptions.
    So.. the answer is I choose both destinies 😁

    And something off topic I found interesting: In today’s newsletter from Forbidden Planet, the UK chain of shops with books and all kinds of other fantasy and SciFi stuff, contained the news that Magic Bleeds was ‘back in stock’. Looks like Kate Daniels is selling really well due to new BDH members who got there through This Kingdom. Congratulations to House Andrews!

  61. This was fun. Mostly C and only 1 B so yes I love this story. By the way I didn’t pick the Stelka it picked me, I was not given a choice there.

  68. a, c, b, b, if i’m just looking and the pictures and have no idea who/what each picture really is
    a – nice big castle township
    c – nice lade (hopefully) rather than big scary guys
    b – map, handy
    b – future visions, should be helpful rather than mystery potion (could cause snakes for hair or anything)
