Do you have a probllama? This is my probllama.
I haven’t crosstitched in about 20 years, but I saw an article about different reddit boards, and there was a crosstitch reddit. And on it, someone had taken this kit and changed it from No Probllama to 2020 Probllama.
I thought it was the funniest thing. I don’t know why. I guess I am pandemic traumatized. So I searched for the kit, and Amazon had it. Score. I bought it and spent my vacation swimming and probllamaing while watching TV. I had a great time.
The probllama is spoken for by Kid 2. Now I have to make something for Kid 1. Balance in all things.
I just like saying probllama. Probllama. Probllama? Probllama!
Hehehe.

Beautiful French knots. I hate them and they hate me.

Now I want to start cross-stitching again. Except I have two toddlers and no time. ????. And I’m currently
busy playing Control on my PS5. I played it about 1/3 of the wat through when it first came out, and then life happened so I never finished it. But it’s marvelous. So much detail. And I know the lead designer (which makes me feel like I know a celebrity ????????????♀️) – although I didn’t know he worked on it until after I bought the game lol. Have you played any good games lately?

Hey Bookworm,
Ilona has done a couple of gaming updates lately, on Might and Magic 8 Merge and Genshin Impact 🙂 https://ilona-andrews.com/2021/entertainment-roundup/ and https://ilona-andrews.com/2021/grumpy/

Best part is probllama doesn’t add to budget expenditures and is good for a smile whenever it is in view!

Too cute! I haven’t cross-stitched in years; makes me want to do some! Maybe some little Christmas ornaments! Glad you enjoyed your vacation. Hope the rest and relaxation refreshed your bodies and minds!

I really like your Llama.

If you want a funny no probllama book, there is a cute board book by Rosie Greening titled No Probllama about a llama who gets in trouble showing off:)

That is so cute.
I’m partial to drama llama. I first heard it in Thea Harrison’s “Dragos Goes to Washington” and I love it. That and ripper cushions have a permanent place in my brain
SoCoMom says
Oh, now you’ve done it … my brain came up with “Hasta Man-llama, Baby!”
Cute llama mama stitching! Looking forward to the next part 🙂

If you’re sticking with the same critter, you need one that says “llamageddon” for K1.
If you’re switching critters, you need “alpacalypse”.

Fun fact, did you know Llamas and Camels have a common ancestor?
Kelticat says
Another fun fact. Camels evolved in the Americas which is why they can eat creosote bushes.

A neighbourhood church was known for its fabulous Christmas concerts – lots of cute kids, amazing costumes & animals, but the year they swapped the traditional donkey for a llama in lamé, I lost it!

I love it! Exactly my kind of humor, unfortunately not everyone around me understands it 😀 😀

This is so cute. My 5 year old has decided to be obsessed with llamas now in addition to unicorns and mermaids. We are llama crazy at our house in response. 🙂

For Kid 1 + your consideration, I submit this piece. I don’t know whether you embroider but it brings me such joy.

You are not alone. I saw and laughed out loud; husband came to investigate and promptly looked at me like I had grown a prehensile tail and was trying to swat him with it.

I got 99 probllamas but a stitch ain’t one?
I keep meaning to get into cross stitch. I have so many supplies, but I have yet to do a search for snarky cross stitch patterns. Because I know that’s a rabbit hole I will not climb out of soon. (Snarky speaks to my cold, dead heart.)(Positive, affirmative, sunshiny cross stitch…makes me want to stab people!)
Practical me wants an “Off with your shoes!” cross stitch at the front door, because I’m that kind of person. But I want someone to design it for me to make, and I want it more “art” than “basic.” Picky, picky…
Meanwhile, I’ll stick to knitting.

So cute! I am going to look for it for my daughter she would love it.

Loved your Probllama so much I ordered the kit so I can make my own! It just arrived today! Thank you for the fun inspiration! I haven’t cross stitched in a while, so it’s going to be fun to do it again!

There is just something so fun in the word “llama.” There used to be a farm near us that had a couple of llamas. My daughter and I would spend the next 10 minutes of our drive coming up with silly llama rhymes. Now I’m going to have to get two of that cross stitch llama – one for my daughter and one for me!
Amy says
I love that so much.
