    2. I’d think I’d try to go by something short so I could spin it as a nickname to something more common to the world I end up in (once I figure that out which I doubt will be instantly). Something like Kit or Mae.

    but due to my out of shape status,and my impression from trying to hike with the kids, I’d probably be called “Mrs. Wait for me…” 😅.

  23. Ooh, fantasy names! Made a whole lot of these at some point. i’m originally from Finland, although live currently in the US (like House Andrews) so I should be entered into the US giveaway.

    I like to play Baldur’s Gate. As you may know, it happens in Faerun. My protagonist is often called Yaya, especially if she’s a wild mage and elven. I’d take that in a fantasy world. No last name. (OH, and yes, I HAVE read the book of the Yaya sisterhood.)

    I instructed AI to use my name and given it a Russian/Scottish twist (I’ve Russian heritage on my paternal grandmother’s side of the family and Scottish on my paternal grandfather’s side.) I also told it to give me Irish and Scottish twists since I’m British/Irish on my maternal side of the family, but liked the Russian/Scottish one the most. Yep I’m 100% mutt.

  84. I’m from the US. If I were transported into any book I would probably just keep my name Rae. Otherwise I would get confused and not know people are talking to me (which would really mess up the plot).
