Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but am I correct to assume this is the last US special edition? I was hoping for a US special edition that wasn’t subscription, like the beautiful Waterstone’s editions.
This is the last announced special edition, yes, but there may be more news there!
House Andrews took the feedback on board and they are looking into possibilities for their own special edition 🙂

Sigh Tor why a subscription? The European versions weren’t subscriptions I don’t want a subscription and be stuck with pricy books from Authors I don’t enjoy. I like to test an Author out with paperback or ebook before I make that kind of investment. Very sad
You know we can test the hordes power and all of us who want and would pay for a special edition could write to Arcane Society and Subterranean Press. And beg for a special Edition. At and Dociety does such pretty pretty books

So signing up for this SE won’t yield the ability to purchase the book? Now I’m depressed as I have yet to be able to purchase any of them and can’t afford even the used ones I’ve seen at double and triple original cost.
Still, I’m thankful for the ones I have and have been rereading and listening often! Thank you for letting us live outside our own heads and in your worlds.

For anyone despairing about not getting a SE yet, have hope! I saw an Owlcrate sell on Mercari last week for $75, so if you stalk it, you might be able to get one reasonable (been awhile since I’ve seen one under $60 there, most are close to $200). They do go quickly though!
Or keep, ahem, politely requesting them from whomever you would like it from. Subterranean Press kept telling me that they wouldn’t reprint Innkeeper 1, but they did (or at least are soon, hopefully)!
Super excited to see what IA has in store for us, in whatever form it takes! Especially all the words! (While I would love merch/boxes, only if it’s convenient for IA and doesn’t cause too much stress or time away from writing) 🤗
