Why does Christopher, former Golden Legatus, know the formula and how to produce panacea?
The People did a lot of experiments, including trying to hybridize vampires and shapeshifters. Unfortunately, Lyc-V eats vampirism for breakfast. Panacea suppresses Lyc-V immune response and there was a theory that if you fed a shapeshifter enough panacea, vampirism would take. It didn’t.
There was a whole subplot about it and then we cut it. Because that’s what we do. ::looking at 45,000 cuts file for Ruby Fever:: All the things you will never see.
We get questions about revision sometimes, and whether or not experience equals less revision, and so on. Writers never become prefect, in a sense that there is never a novel that was written and published without revisions.
Curious about “put down that cow” … is it physical strength, or is it magic/levitation?
Why do you ask spoilery things?
Whatever happened to Yu Fong? “His character totally reminds me of one those brooding, tragically traumatized yet beautiful and yet way too skinny K-drama guys you can’t help but wonder about and try to feed.”
Yu Fong is Chinese. 🙂 Also he is more like Eddie Gu. Six foot tall and not skinny
Okay so I couldn’t find a picture of him with bare arms and looking menacing, but feel free to Google. You need to add Chinese actor to the search string otherwise it pulls up Eddie Guerrero.
You will probably see him in the sequel to Blood Heir. Or maybe not. We haven’t decided yet.
Will Steve West read Hugh 2?
Every effort will be made to book Mr. West. He is absolutely perfect for Hugh. But we need to write that books first. We are hoping to be done with Ruby Fever by the end of this month. Then we will spend a month prewriting Innkeeper, so we can start it during the holiday season. Hugh 2 will likely be written parallel to the Innkeeper. We will keep you posted.

Thank you for answering the question about panacea and Christopher! I would love to see the sub-plot you cut, but you are already so generous. ❤️

A little late to this party, but I’m jumping up and down at the idea of Hugh2 inching even the slightest bit closer! And if you get on a roll, please feel free to keep right on going with Hugh3 (and Hugh4 and so on)! 🙂 So excited by this news.

Thank you, Ilona Andrews for the post.
We appreciate all your hard work. Okay i do. The bovine, canine and feline just like the fact that human stops for awhile to read so they get TLC while said activity is ongoing. ????. Yes we are all spoiled.
Enjoy fall weather. Here we are currying daily as summer fur coats are being “shedded” for winter coats.
Thanks for picture.

Thank you very much for the updates. Really looking forward those books. I adore the inkeeper’series. And I’m so happy to hear about Hugh’s book. I grew very fond of Stoyan and Lamar, can’t wait to read about them again.

Why do we, your faithful readers, ask “spoilery things” like “Is ‘put down that cow’ a strength thing or a magic thing?”?
Because inquiring minds want to know. Still a funny scene…and it shows how far some people have progressed/healed in the interim.????

Just finished my reread of kd and on blood heir so this was a fun treat to see. Always enjoy this world and all you do. Dark is good, it’s part of tall dark and handsome. Lol.
Not at all the same thing but when Im crafting, I have multiple scrapbooks or cards going at once so if I get stuck I can see if creative juices unblock with a change. Mind you it’s not different worlds, just a way to express something else. Is that similar to why multiple books at a time?
Take care!

Thank you for everything ????????

Thank you for your churn! You two are really literary beasts when it comes to how much content you produce, and since I love it, thank you.

Blood Heir was amazing. Thank you so much.

I love innkeeper! I love hidden legacy! I love the blood heir series too. Not picky at all. Thanks for continuing to be productive, I think we are all weary of that (being productive) , so appreciate your efforts even more.

Slipping in the new innkeeper line at the end of this post. Did I miss it being announced elsewhere? Either way, thrilled.

Innkeeper and Hugh?! Rejoice! I just re-listened(bc reading at work is frowned upon) kate/hugh/julie novels and am feeling very nostalgic for their continuation. I appreciate your authorship’s continuation of writing.
