Live from France : I’m about to start my regular summer reread of the Fortune de France series by Robert Merle, a series of 13 historical novels mostly depicting the 16th and 17th centuries French wars of religion. Lots of political intrigue, spying, swashbuckling, courting and delightful old french words and expressions.
The most important item currently on my nightstand is the fan remote control, as we are in the middle of a heat wave.

I only buy physical books for older series I’ve already started with physical books – I’m running out of bookshelf space and you can’t make me part with a book. So no books on my nightstand at the moment. 😊

Anyway, my current ebook is Kim Harrison’s Three Kinds of Lucky. So far I’m liking it!

    I’m in the USA.
