Hidden Legacy Special Editions: Catalina’s Trilogy

Blog, Catalina, Hidden Legacy 35 Comments | POST A COMMENT September 16, 2026 by Moderator R

Remember the gorgeous Arcane Society editions of the Hidden Legacy Nevada trilogy?

The matching set for Catalina’s books has been announced!

The new Arcane Society Special Edition Box will contain SAPPHIRE FLAMES, EMERALD BLAZE and RUBY FEVER.

The art for the reverse dust jacket and endpapers, which has not yet been revealed, is created by Helena Elias, familiar to the Horde because she illustrated the character vellums for This Kingdom and the cover for Beast Business.

Incidentally, I have already seen Helena’s designs (Moderator privilege!) and they are so perfectly Catalina and Alessandro that restraining the squeees is basically heroic.

Fantastical Ink, who also created the artwork for the Nevada trilogy set, returns with the dust jackets, illustrated hardcover cases and sprayed edges.

How can we get it?

Arcane Society will send early-access passcodes to active subscribers on October 2 at 4:00 pm Eastern Time. Subscriber early access will begin later that day at 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

If copies remain after the early access window, the box will go on public sale at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. All three books in this set will be unsigned.

Cost and shipping?

The three-book box will cost $120 USD, plus shipping and applicable taxes.

Copies are currently expected to ship in April 2027. As always with special editions produced this far in advance, details of the art shown in the announcement and the estimated shipping date are subject to change.

A reminder that Arcane Society are an independent company, who make their own business decisions. For all questions regarding this edition, including content, subscriptions, early access, ordering, payment, shipping, taxes or delivery, please contact their customer service team directly at help@arcanesociety.com.

PS from Ilona: The Hidden Legacy Arcane editions are licensed by our publisher, specifically by Avon imprint of Harper Collins. We do not have any say in availability, pricing, etc. We only comment on art, and both Arcane and Avon have been very gracious in allowing us to work directly with Helena on some of the art.

    Ohh, those are pretty.

Fingers crossed that the all the BDH who want them, get them! (Pro tip — use Shop to check out — all your payment info is loaded, so you don’t lose time putting that in. I think that’s what helped those of us who snagged the latest Magge.)

I got the e-mail from Arcane yesterday about this. I was seriously debating about getting this set. However, I might skip it since I’m moving soon.

All the Horde who run to Arcane, good luck with getting your set. Hark, do I hear the “William Tell Overture?” 😂🎶

I was really coveting a hardcover version of Burn For Me as I had the other 2 in hardcover. I did pass up the first offer, but they came around a few months later with leftovers so I indulged. You may have another chance!

I’m so happy that they’re adding these to the previous set and hope all of us will get our copies. I love that we’re getting some special editions of earlier books.

I am so happy with the new IA fame due to This Kingdom – hoping for a complete re-release special edition Kate Daniels (it might cost an arm and a leg, but I am saving up just for this possibility)
I have the Small Magic edition – it is simply *glorious* and holds a place of pride on my bookshelf

Mod R, I know this is a question for Arcane, but do you have any inside scoop on if Diamond Fire will be printed too? 🤞🏻

They are so pretty! Hopefully everyone that wants a set, can get them!

I did email them and ask, but you’re just so amazing and on top of things (almost omniscient even) that I thought you might have the info! 😁🤗

Plus, since you’re one of us, maybe you might let a little tidbit, a tiny nugget, of inside info slip though. 😄

Arcane’s reply to me: “At the moment, we don’t have plans to print Diamond Fire. If that changes in the future, we’ll be sure to announce it on our social media pages and through our newsletter.”

I would encourage others of the BDH who would like Diamond Fire as well to email them! Maybe they will (cave to our fluffy and chalant pressure) change their mind! 😄

Will you believe that a week ago, I asked on the Arcane FB group if they had plans to do Catalina?
Can we all say answered prayer?! Squeeeee 🙌🏾💃🏾🎉 I am so getting this set, to match the Nevada books!

Seems like it’ll be a gold rush, as some people (from Arcane) were introduced to House Andrews via Nevada’s books and are now frothing at the mouth waiting for this set…
I suggested trying other HA books (Kate Daniels, TKWNKM, Beast Business!!) in an attempt to sway their focus elsewhere, but I am not sure they’ll fall for it… they sound like the Horde 🫤

To my follow Horde member who suggested Shop, thank you! Suggestion accepted and acted upon…. won’t be wasting precious seconds entering card number (which my fingers will chose that precise to screw up!)

Where’s Arabella’s trilogy? 2 sisters out of three get their stories – isn’t this unfair?

the Hidden Legacy series is finished.

A trilogy for Arabella was never announced or in the plans. There are ideas for stories, so maybe one day 🙂

Happy to hopefully get the matching set to my lonely Nevada Trilogy. Although I have to say my favorite so far is Arcane Societys “Iron and Magic” – so far my prettiest book on the shelf. There is just something about that cover…

No, I don’t remember, because I wasn’t yet following the blog so I didn’t know they existed 🙁 I guess it’ll be unlikely for them to reissue the original trilogy so those of us who missed out can get matching sets…

(though to be honest, these days I do almost all my reading on Kindle so do I really *need* pretty versions on the shelf?)

oh that’s weird, I refreshed to see if I could get the comments to work to wish Cecelia luck in logging on, but that bit of the blog isn’t there and the comments around that are gone. I’m very confused right now.
I’ll just sit with the pretty books vibe instead

I’ve always been curious, when art is commissioned do you give them a list of details regarding the character? For example: hair/ eye color, height, defining characteristics like scars, etc. that way they don’t have to hunt in the book?

Yes, of course 🙂. There are descriptions, backstory, relevant fragments from the books for stance and attitude, and ofc reference images.

This is of course in addition to input throughout the draft process.
