    “Madison” is not the easiest name to say in a lot of languages (too many hard consonants) and I can picture a scene in a fantasy land where they fail to understand it and just pick one that’s more normal for the world, and the protagonist just goes with it.

    I would hope to be transported into to Kate or maybe Innkeeper as they are the two that would have access to magic like Lyc-V or as Dina says, most humans have magic, they just have to learn to use it. I feel like not being part of a magic family in Hidden Legacy would feel like i was watching things from the outside.

I don’t know if you’ve read the military space opera by Elizabeth Moon about Captain Honor Harrington, but I feel like Honor works as an excellent fantasy-world name (alternatively, also works for extremely pinched trust-fund WASPs). I think it also works well since it’s a word that is translatable, so if you end up in a fantasy world with a bunch of different languages, you could pick the sound or choose to pick the word that means “Honor.” Adaptability; it’s the thing that matters most when you’re transported into a fantasy world, or so my reading has led me to understand. (I’m in the US)

  90. Good luck everybody! I cannot be inserted into my books because I like pretend violence a lot! If I go in it turns into real violence. I love the cuttin, shootin, beatin, and all but I love that its pretend. Most of my books are violent at some point. I love it. Now I have some sexy faves but I will disavow the telling of those titles!
