  3. I’m from Mexico and, considering I play Sims and read as much as I can, context is key for the name choosing but I’m going with both my grandmother’s last name – one backwards because I’m left-handed lol:

    Two titles given to me by the many, many kids who call me Auntie; and thought my spare room was an actual library (Too be fair, it probably looked like one to a young kid). I can pull weird random tidbits out at the oddest times too. Then I go down the rabbit hole searching for more information.

  26. I’d use the Egyptian throne name I made up with friends at university whilst I was studying hieroglyphics. I was Nebet Net Wadgewer which translates to The Lady of the Sea (or the great blue green if you want to get super literal).

    If I got transported into a fantasy realm I could see it playing out like it did for Faith in the Aspect and Anchor series by Ruby Dixon, where everytime she introduces herself she ends up having to explain that is her real name its actually a normal name where she comes from and it becomes a whole thing.

    I’d go by the name of Rita, my grandmothers name and it’s also my middle name.
    Coincidentially, Saint Rita is in Belgium also the saint for the ‘hopeless cases’(Dutch = Hopeloze gevallen) and in fase I’d be portaled, would end up in a bunch of funny/special circumstances!

    ooof difficult question, I totally used to be one of those over the top fantasy names as a teen.

    I’d probably pick something similar enough that I’d recognise but not the same name in case it’s a fantasy magic system where knowing your name matters – e.g. Leila Thorns (although if Loki isn’t a thing there then that name could do too!

    • I am in the US. I would be Angie, the Nona of the Dorf, Preceptor of the Call Bells, the De-escalator. Amusingly, my work badge did have my Preceptor title at one point.
